**MVC2 Right side showcase.

GGs to everyone who came out last night. Lots of MVC2 players O_O Good seeing everyone come out.
I spoke with the manager last night about the H2H conversions and he gave the OK for them to continue(my talk with Jason might have influenced this). If I heard him correctly, the next game to go H2H should be MVC2 followed by the remaining tournament worthy fighting games in the coming months(2nd 3S, 2nd CVS2, 2nd MVC2). I also pointed out the sticks that need to be replaced as well as 3S H2H monitors. The tech comes in Tuesday morning so I’ll try to make it there early to speak with him and make sure things REALLY get handled.
If everything goes according to plan, Nor-Cal Golfland management will make MGL their flagship local arcade for professional & competitive play. The team is already talking and planning our next 2 day event so expect to see more mass capacity tournaments in the near future.
I went to MGL yesterday afternoon again to speak the both the manager and head technician and we have some very good news!
*1) All crappy joysticks will get brand new ones as well as every single button will get replaced!
2) Both 3S monitors on the H2H cabs will be fixed!
3) CVS2 H2H player 2 monitor and both sides sound will be getting fixed!
4) ALL TOP CAPCOM FIGHTING GAMES WILL BE GETTING PS2 CONTROLLER PORTS BUILT INTO THE CABS! Now you can bring your own sticks for 3S, CVS2 & MVC2 if you don’t like the ones on the cabs!
5) All 3S, CVS2 & MVC2 will be going H2H and will have a new section layout just for it, the next being MVC2. The manager said he wants the PS2 ports done before this though.
6) MGL’s next 2 day tournament event is a go. The manager is asking when I’m going to hold this BUT I am not planning nor confirming ANYTHING until all the games are tournament ready! I’m looking to hold this event after the PS2 ports are installed.*

Summer 2008 is looking extremely promising for Nor-Cal’s fighting game fans!**
I’ve been asking them for a few years now but they never seem to take this request serious. I’ll ask the managers again I guess. Every time I make requests to them I always get the same reply “Will it make us money?” Its all about profit. Also 1 person making these requests doesn’t help them come to reality much. If you guys want to see things happen you need to step up and let your voice be heard. Not to me… but to management. I can pass the message on to them but taking 1 persons word for it apposed to like 10+ makes a HUGE difference. So to everyone who wants to see X game at MGL or whatever else… please help me out and let your voice be heard also.
jab uppercut into jab command roll or standard roll, depending on the distance. you could also do jab uppercut into short hurricane kick. do w/e you want, you can even mix it up with all 3 if you want and look cool. =]
