Does the Arcade still see enough income from video gaming to continually maintain and repair cabinets on a regular basis? I thought the original issue concerning maintenace was the lack of profits? In either case, if theyre showing a stronger interest in our gaming community again and are willing to help, then I applaud their efforts.

Yes, of course, it would be good for new blood and a call for the return of old.

KOF and Melty Blood, as much as I lack interest in these games, Ive heard a strong call for them as there is a supportive “otaku” based community for these titles.
-Would you like to see the H2H project we had continue for games like MVC2 or say maybe Tekken 5 : DR?
If they can work on the H2H project they have now, the 3S machine needs a bit of work and attention along with the CVS2 H2H, then I think it could be interesting move towards MVC2 and especially Tekken, as the 3D fighters are gradually dying out from MGL, it could prove a profitable return.

As a favor to our gaming community I’d be willing to do some basic maintance for them for free if they supply the parts.

I don’t know about more H2H cabs. They should probably work on the ones they have already. Some of those monitors are real bad.

AT LEAST FOR SOME PEOPLE!!! THIRD MY FAVORITE IS WHEN YOU PLAY MARVEL IN THIS SITUATION!!! MAGNETO PLAYERS HAVE AN ADVANTAGE CAUSE THE OTHER PERSON CAN’T LOOK AT YOUR DOING!!! **I spoke with the MGL manager last night and I will be helping with all the cabinet repairs in the next few weeks. Many of the control panels need new parts(sticks/switches) so we will be replacing those. I’m definitely going to push for the 3S H2H monitors to get fixed or replaced ASAP, that was really annoying me last night. We looked at the CVS2 H2H a while back in terms of monitor and sound but I guess they never got around to fixing it, so I’ll push those issues as well. Lots and lots of work to be done just hang in there and be patient. Since SFIV is on the way I’ve gained interest in fighting games once again. Looks like I’ll be sticking around for the next few years:nunchuck: :smokin:

Pat, don’t go. Especially since you’re driving so far.
Me and Bhushan went last Saturday, and had to go to SVGL…which is better, but only has one machine for everything. The 2p fierce button doesn’t work on the big cab for CVS, and the h2h doesn’t take tokens. Well, it takes your tokens, but you can’t play. One side has red tape blocking the coin slots, the other side took a token on each slot. 3rd Strike h2h shuts off after a couple games…like the screen goes blank and there’s no sound, so I’m not sure if it’s still going or not, but in any event: you can’t play it.
