Hmm, it is an idea to make a completely separate thread for the Ranking thing, but I dunno.
If possible, people should go around and tell other people [Jesus, ACTUAL 3s players, not some random guy off the street] about the Ranbat and the possibility there may be one this Friday. Absolute best case scenario = We get a good amount of people and the 1st Ranbat starts this Friday. However it’s more than likely it won’t be held this Friday, but if the word gets spread, then we can easily do it the next Friday.
Ok, I made a seperate thread [located in the Tournaments and Events forum] which is to spread the word about theNorcal Ranbats. Most likely we’ll be unable to get the participation we need to start them this Friday [1/26], but it should help out on future dates. Another kink in starting them this week is that we’re still undecided on how we’re going to record it. And yet another problem is that the details [which are listed in the thread] have yet to be hammered out. I’d rather not we run a ranbat half-assed - otherwise it just becomes a random tourney with no recording, no real point system, no drive to play, and so on. Might as well take a little time to make it run smoothly, or else we might as well not do this at all.
If you’re sad about the Ranbat most likely not being this Friday, sorry. However, might as well go and get some practice in. Bring a 3s friend, whatever. In the meantime, we can have a normal weekly in its place.
Edit: Hmm, maybe we should make another Norcal Ranbat thread in there as well. I’m not sure if people from around here consistently check the Tournaments and Events forums…

Dope. Joe, I’ll be wanting to talk with you about setting up a Norcal Ranbat, but I wanted to know if you’re still interested in setting things up. Lemme know, either here or there.
