Last time I went the head to head mahvel machine was ass. It ate quarters sometimes and on one side the stick was absolute shit. Then again, this was like…10 months ago ahahaha.
But I’m saddened BB is still 75 cents a game…and they wonder why no one plays it there? Here at AI it’s 25 cents, 3 rounds also, and it had BB for a shorter period of time too.
So innocent lol, if you’re going to go to an arcade for BB, the better one is SVGL (approximately 20 minutes away from Milpitas). It’s set at best of 3 for 50 cents (2 credits), but the local BB competition goes there, and the condition of the cabinet is at least 10x better than MGL’s.
As you may have noticed, the 1P side of MGL’s bb cabinet is too wrecked to play with. Irresponsive buttons from A - D, and stick movements are so stiff (like covered in molasses stiff) that you can’t do jump cancels or dash cancels efficiently. These are my reviews from monday of this week.
Interesting, I will have to check it out at some point. What is the regular night for meetup or is it just random? Can u list the other games there?
I only noticed the A button being intermittently problematic… I did feel much better on the 2p side though.
Anyone going up tonight? Need some practice before NCR and supposedly there are more chun players at MGL then SVGL, and i need to step up my play a bit.

but I’m out tonight… I’m going to stay home to watch the new south park and work on game ideas w/ some friends of mine. Next week though there is no new south park to get in the way so unless something serious comes up I’m in.

I fixed the Jab on the SF4 h2h by mashing on it today and giving the cab panel a bump with the bottom of my hand
