The opening part always gives me shivers. That said, I think Lord Worm may be one of the most overrated singers in death metal. He’s an amazing lyricist, though.

Been taking a trip back to black metal, which I’d kind of forgotten about for a few years. Blut Aus Nord’s The Work Which Transforms God is pretty cool. It has a very dark and haunting atmosphere, almost like you’re literally falling into an abyss.

When it comes to music, I find classical music (Bach, Grieg, Beethoven) and death metal helps me concentrate and let go the most, so I searched for something that combined both, and it turned out to be awesome.
Concentrating is vital for me as the world’s best chess player, and music absolutely helps. I’d actually like it if we were allowed to listen to music when in school, and when we play chess in big tournaments because I sincerely think that it would improve the results for at least the kids in school.
I would be very interested in seeing the results of a study done on this.

Been getting into and exploring a lot of Doom lately. I mean, I’d always kind of liked it, but never really got too into it. Funeral Doom, epic doom, etc. Good shit.
