Metal tab on microswitch (Noob question)

I searched the boards for something on this but couldn’t find anything.

I bought these Omron D2RV-LG silent microswitches to install in a Hayabusa but because they have this metal tab they won’t work properly. Did I buy the wrong switches or is there a easy/clean way to remove the tab?

No silent JLF I’m aware of comes with levered switches.

I’ve had both 1st and 2nd gen silent JLF and both did not include levers on switches.

Contact Paradise Arcade Shop, speak with Susan as she really good about customer support.
Tell them about your issue, they might do an exchange or something.

And it’s really hard to do a lever removal on the D2RV due to that metal rivet
