My head is swelling with all of the information I was just forced to process. Holy fucking shit. That ending was just jampacked with so much crazy shit, but it was just…awesome once again. The fact that I wasn’t even talking to Cambell the whole game really creeps me the fuck out for some reason. The shit he was saying towards the end just made everything so unsettling.
What a crazy ending though. Everything being simulated to the t of the Patriot’s expectations…and that after credits reveal? Holy fuck. It just kept throwing in the most insane twists. What an incredible story.
When SE was announced i dont think ive ever been more hype for a game in my life except maybe mvc3 pre launch. Played Sol on marathon runs (thats when i got really good speedrunning it).
Anyways, after the crazy mindfuckery of SOL, SE is a rather simple straightforward game. Its a great gameplay experience and jungle stealth owns but i expected crazy mindfuck twists and was disappointed i still remember the ending leaving me going “thats it?”
Is this all stuff he says in the game or something? Lol.
Seriously, that part was making me sooooooo fucking creeped out. I had no idea what to expect at any point in the game, but that part was just thrashing any theories I had. Campbell just kept calling and calling and calling over and over again while I was trapped in that hallway. I didn’t know what to do. I was afraid to try and call anyone.
That part where A.I Cambpell is talking about driving home, seeing some kind of light, and then waking up back in his living room…what the hell was that all about? Where is the real Cambpell this whole time?
Goddamn. I’ve been thinking about the final events of that game all night. Lol.
100% sure Campbell and Snake have a talk about Campbell coming out of retirement for this and I am positive theres more codec calls of why he come out of retirement.
I’ll have to look these up or something. I remember them talking about this at some point but that’s about as far my memory of it goes.
There were more than a few codec calls I missed out on, though. Wanted to hear the one of Otacon explaining why Metal Ray bleeds and just stuff like that. Guess I’ll have to check them all out whenever my second playthrough will be.
