I’ve eaten a few MRE (US ration) given by a cousin who got it somewhere. It’s a small box labeled MRE(Meal, ready to eat) filled with contents.
I ate mashed potatoes, egg omelet, & pork from separate packages. There’s packaged crackers, cookies and cheese/nut spread in a sealed tube wrap. It comes with some condiments.
There is one other thing that allows you to heat stuff; never used it. Utensils like spoon/fork may have came with it I don’t remember.
It tastes fine. The food is standard. Nutrition is supposed to be good.
- 8/10 would certainly eat again.

10’s from both IGN and Gamespot. Surprisingly only a 9.3 from Ben Moore @ Gametrailers who LOVES Kojima. Only thing that worries me is allegations of a “sparse” story, whatever that means.
Hopefully it means 70% gameplay 30% cutscenes instead of the reverse like MGS4.
Sparse story can only mean good things.
I always found MGS plots fucking retarded, with the plot of MGS1 at least being somewhat fun.
The gameplay of MGS is where it shines imo, so the less talk I get and the more gaming I get, the happier I’m gonna be with the new game.
The leap in bullshittery accomplished from Metal Gear Solid going to Metal Gear Solid 2: Sons of Liberty was so great I couldn’t believe what I was reading.
Yea MGS was kinda Tom Clancy and the rest of the series was straight out the fucking window imo. Crotch got it right tho, even if the story is a tad too fantastical (for my tastes) its still HnK levels of manly AF.
Just gotta pop the unlock all trials trophy and am done with GZ, this marking all enemies then doing the mission again a few times on hard to pop the rest can suck a dick. My R2 button is gimped so am taking it dry fml.
according the the gametrailers review , microtransactions were “deactivated” as the game is not yet released.
So there still is no way to tell how much of the game will be “pay 2 win” or whatever.
As someone who has been saying “naw never buying anything from Konami again” i am tempted now to pick phantom pain up.

idk dude i kinda like the FOB idea. its basically one dude playing as snake infiltrating a base and the other dude protecting it…its basically the singleplayer experience with a smarter ai if you wanna look at it that way
