mgo2 revival pretty much killed mgo1. and as the dude above said, it was unstable anyway. people were on too many different setups.
good news @SNAAAAKE @SWBeta
yeah I hurd
except they will probably show some random poop footage like “raiding” other people’s base or some shit. what they should do is just recreate current mgo with fox engine. of course add more maps but Id really want the current setups for next generation. those 15 maps and all the modes are 4 years of work. sure they can tweak things around as they see fit but lot of the work for online play is already done and ready to go. and for people that never played, its a whole new experience. only “problem” is OGs having the upperhand. we know everything there is to know about maps and random tricks/spots/whatever lol…
Hope they take that headshot shit out of the game.
How different was MGO compared to the MP in PW?
Am hoping new MP will have much bigger maps and better objectives that involve a lot more teamwork.
We aren’t going to get traditional MGO. American audiences can’t handle it.
PWO is like playing MvC2 but when you boot the character select screen up all you can choose are capcom characters and not even commando tronne or strider
yeah but every region has scrubs. its not JUST american audience problem.
I was shocked first time I played in japanese server. all these high number/level players were so average. they were doing the scrubbiest shit and constantly wall hugging and camping. mgo3 doesn’t have to be too “traditional” but Id like it somewhat similar to mgo2.
Japanese are ass at MvC2 as well
MvC2
MGO2
2+2=4
MGO is americas game
And yet Konami cared more about the Japanese crowd.
we’re also the same ones who crashed game servers for those easy W’s.
when Rugal refers to “American audiences”, he’s actually talking about those lowest common denominator scrubs who play gay shit on their xbox 2 shitty. honestly would not be surprised if there was cod-style snapping in mgo 3.
MvC2 is a terrible game, though.
oh it was not about easy winning. it was about getting shitted on by better players then out of desperation they were crashing the server.some people were so good at this game that they were able to beat glitchers too. only way to stop those guys were to just fuck up the server.
mgo2 was a huge circlejerk. pros only hung out with pros. fuck your friendship nigga its all about gp. and the kids that crashed mgo were salty enough to the point where they felt the need to ruin the game for everyone. then there was hypocrisy. there were various “legit” players lagged on purpose so they were equally shitty people.
and some kids just felt the need to ddos the server for fun. they don’t have anything against anyone but they just wanted to ruin the game. this shit STILL happens now from time to time on the revival server.
So…
This whole time I been wondering (alongside quite a few of you others) what was going on with the online component
or whatever it was that they were planning and now that I’ve seen what it is that Kojima has put together. I’m just…
not interested.
It’s not MGO3. It’s not even MGO.
It’s just a similar concept of which Watch_Dogs employed with their game, where you can appear in another person’s
game and—do shit—to their Mother Base. I hope that wasn’t all because it was interesting, but then, completely forgettable.
Nothing competitive about it. Not even if there’s a leaderboard for it. Hope I’m wrong and more is shown. Or better yet,
that was just a *PART *of the online experience and that in fact there would be a 8V8 or 12V12 TDM game modes or whatever.

^this
Hoping the online play takes it away from MGO and something new altogether, I honestly couldnt care for a micro lobby shooter when greater things are a potential
stay mad forever
Oh shit—I missed this earlier. I wonder if this means that KJP might try selling MGO as it’s own separate game? I mean,
there was that disc release of MGO2 in Japan…
Uh oh…

What is this blasphemy?
Does anyone know where to find the leaderboards for Ground Zeroes?
Got MGS: Legacy bundle and MGR in for my PS3 today. Played some MGS until I realized new games desensitized me and I don’t have my nine year old reflexis anymore.
Then I put in MGR and been playing it ever since, all is right in the world.
Now if I can get an HD version of Snatcher with the uncut stuff (In MERUCA) and Policenauts I’ll be the true Kojima fanboy.
