MG 1+2 was BB as the bad guy, MGS was liquid being the bad guy, MGS 2 was solidus betraying the patriots and being the bad guy with Ocelot sidestory of working for Patriots AI, MGS was the philosophers race, MGS 4 was nanobots going insane being the bad guy, PO 1+2/PW was Cipher comming into gear being the bad guy and GZ is everybody being the bad guy lol.
I feel sorry for Signit, that nigga starts up Patriots with BB/Zero para etc and dont get a worthy mention until Zero goes nuts and BB wants to blow up the world.
Ofcourse am making a clear distination between Patriots and Cipher when they are kinda the same thing, but its only when Zero is alone that Patriots are really the bad guy, which is to say, not that often. Patriots most powerful operative for instance is Solid Snake, he single handedly destroyed Outer Haven, killed BB and removed the last resistance to zeros AI plans. Oh shit.
Didn’t that theory someone posted earlier in the thread say something about “film degradation” being in Ground Zeroes, and therefore insinuates that GZ is just a propaganda movie using decoy octopus as Big Boss or some shit?
I don’t remember the specifics but that was the only thing I’ve seen that even remotely explains why it’s there.
[/details] Came with 3 different Hand styles, 2 P90’s, 2 Katanas, and the Tendrils. Tendrils aren’t very mobile, and they make Solidus hard to stand up. The P90’s look odd when he’s holding them so I just opted with the Katanas, might change to the default fist closed hands one day.
I hope not, I dont think I can cope with that shit again.
I wonder if Solidus is gonna get his own game, could call it MGS: Oval Office and its basically him banging secretaries, shooting senators with missles and teaching Armstrong about the joy of nanomachines. They could have a prequel game like GZ where its basically a 2hr rendition of how he used to bang Raiden in the jungle.
I’m kind of obsessing over this so I’ve been trying to find anything I can on it. Here’s a video that displays the actual frequency of all these orange flashes:
You can clearly see that all three of them are distinct sounds from one another. Logic would dictate that if this was just a repeated sound effect, it would be one sample used for all three occasions. This implies that, to an extent, these sounds are deliberately different and the difference between them was possibly meant to be noticed.
I’ve seen people suggest that someone overlay the sounds or reel patterns, but haven’t seen anyone actually do it yet.
More thoughts on this from CVG:
This is the kind of shit that’s going to kill me waiting for Phantom Pain. I want answers goddamn it.
I’ve been playing Peace Walker for the past few days. It’s not that bad of a game when you consider it’s a PSP game. Makes me feel godlike taking out the three enemies allotted per area :karate:
well kojima did state before that he really doesn’t care about what the audience thinks of the plot and shit. If he wants to pull another VR theory game I can see him doing it and then never giving answers to what the story is really about, just as he did with mgs2.
Nothing like a dash of ambiguity to add a sense of complexity to your narrative. /sarcasm
But I’m calling this shit here and now. Those flashes have to be significant. And I’m willing to bet the Film Propaganda Theory is a lot closer to the truth than some are willing to admit.
