Metal Gear Rising thread. Releasing in Early 2013 for PS3 & 360

that would suck because JP would have to translate every comment and there’s like hundreds of them, lol.

just send JP one of the comments on his twitter. he may even show up again like he did in the Max Anarchy thread.

I have no problem with this. I’m getting this game day one.

you have to translate the love!!!

I like the demo, was really nice of them to throw in the ZOE HD collection with it…
but…
Did Raiden borrow some costumes from Bayo? Cuz those are some serious high heels:wonder:

He also has claws…rawr.

Raiden had some serious High Heels in MGS4.

Having clawed high heels makes seem a lot more cool.

Ehh I dunno, at the end of the day they’re still high heels lol.

Prince wears high heels. Got something against Prince, bro?

lol, I was just going to post something similar, LMBAO!

Raiden kicks a Ray’s ass

serves pancakes afterwards.

Raiden must’ve bathed in the waters of Lake Minnetonka in order to get his upgrades after Sam beat him the first time.

That reminds me, getting Pure Platinum with Jeanne in Bayo at the end of the chapter makes her say “It’s a celebration, bitches”

^Still never unlocked Jeanne or Odin’s Rings. It’s been too long since I’ve played (I’ve lent my copy out a lot to spread the Bayonetta gospel).

Am I the only one who was in near tears after viewing the credits of Bayonetta for the first time?

Some more details:

“It’s at this point that the game introduces another layer to the combat system–the special weapon. You earn Mistral’s polearm after vanquishing her, and this item can eventually be used in conjunction with your primary weapon and unlock new skills and abilities. You can also pick up other items like a rocket launcher or grenades, and in typical Metal Gear fashion you can equip these on-the-fly by bringing up a menu at any point during the mission.”

“If you get overwhelmed by the campaign, you can always hone your skills in the VR Missions. These are unlocked by finding secret intel boxes hidden throughout each level in the game. In typical Metal Gear fashion, you’re ranked based on how quickly you complete your objective, which can be as easy as taking out every enemy. The tasks get increasingly more difficult, some of which throw you a curveball with odd restrictions.”

Alfheim missions! I wonder what the reward is for completing them all?

really would like a Wii U version simply because my 360 is super noisy and I am not going to renew a 1yr subscription of Live for any more than $19.99 (random, I know)!

I think this game should come to WiiU. I’m not into the console war BS I think good games should be available for all consoles, as long as the system has the specs required.

Something tells me it’s a costume, but a weapon is not out of the question either.

I would prefer a weapon over a costume, unless it was a really over-the-top costume.

It’s going to be interesting to see Raiden use other weapons and what his new strings and attacks will look like. The weapons in Bayonetta were really diverse and interesting to use, I don’t expect any less in MGR.

Its hard to imagine what they can come up with. It would be cool for Raiden to dual wield two high frequency katanas, like Dragon’s Claw & Tiger’s Fang from Ninja Gaiden.
