I think I called it being Metal Gear once dude was standing in the flame. But even though we know it’s Metal Gear what the heck is going on? Big Boss was sitting pretty after Peace Walker so what gives? Did he lose his hand at some point? WHERE IS OUR METAL GEAR THREAD?

I thought that didn’t happen until MGS though. Plus if it were him his hair would need to be more blonde. The whole thing is confusing because it doesn’t seem to place anywhere on the timeline. Let alone whales eating helicopters.
This is probably all just a dream though. A foreshadowing in Big Boss’s mind. Something he sees in his sleep and his reality is slowly beginning to reflect that. Those two men, his cloned sons, trying to escape. I’m still down for Ground Zeroes/5 but I much rather be playing Metal Gear Boss starring Boss and her crazy buddies during WWII.

Challenge 6 is the stuff of legends, would be so awesome if we got an MGR equivalent.
I’m hoping for it. Beating Challenge 6 was easily the best single player gaming high I’ve had since I was a little kid. Lots of fist pumping and yelling out loud when the I finally dropped that second Bogey. A friend and I were both trying to beat that Challenge the same week, it was so satisfying sending him the email telling him I did it first. Good times.

You would be surprised how many whiny gamers are saying the footage looks terrible compared to the initial trailers. I for one see it the same way you do, looks great and apparently it is ps3 and 360.
Sadly though MGS is notorious for showing a bunch of trailers through the span of years. I doubt we will get this in 2013…MGR is hot though so ain’t mad.

I was laughing at people saying it looks like Vita or terrible for current gen and next gen.
When did people get so obsessed about graphics? MGS games are rendered with in game footage and consistent framerate is more important that how pretty/uncanny valley a game looks.
This laptop screen isn’t even HD so I really can’t chime in on it >_>
I’m hyped for Metal Gear Rising more than any Metal Gear Solid game.
