<br>

The only thing 360 isn’t getting YET are the apparent new VR missions and for some reason it’s NA only restriction. The other regions have no such restrictions which leads me to believe this is a “timed” exclusive so not to worry. <br>http://www.joystiq.com/2013/02/05/metal-gear-rising-ps3-nabs-exclusive-vr-mission-dlc/<br>

I REALLY don’t understand why NA is locked out of the missions. My money is right here, I would buy them today if they were available. Sony cut the shittiest ad for this game I’ve ever seen to announce their exclusive VR missions :l I’m salty as fuck<div><br></div><div>I don’t trust em til I see it for myself that Konami says “Oops we fucked up, here ya go”</div>

I would pay for fist fighting DLC weapon<br><br>He has nails, let him slash people open for Blade Mode<br>

Feral Raiden DLC.

Fuck yes, absolutely. I was honestly surprised that they didn’t have it as an unlock after you beat armstrong for the first time. <br>

So he’d be Rei from HNK? Yea…dope.

I already asked for that :frowning: would be cool for laughs.

I like beating games on all difficulties sometimes, so I figured…why not Easy/Foxblade/WigB? I was god for a few hours.

Maybe cuz they’re gonna be available overseas? idk :frowning:

So if you’re facing Captain America and you tarting with absolutely no nanopaste, are you totally fucked?  Is there any way to get that nanopaste before the fight starts even though you’re locked on the checkpoint?

No. You can beat him without it its what I had to do on my first playthrough revengeance run.<div><br></div><div>His first two fights are timed based.</div>

 YAS.<div><br></div><div>Got 100% achievements/Platinumed it</div><div><br></div><div>pun intended </div>

Only thing you can do is do the Zandatsu parts for Nanopaste.<br>

After you Zandatsu the boulders he throws at you and pick up all the nanopaste, save the game via Courtney. If you lose you’ll start the match with all the nanopaste you picked up.

<div class=“QuoteText”>Dat VR Mission 19- Bare Knuckle, bitches! Why
is Platinum(and sometimes Sega and Nintendo) the only company that still
understands the real essence of video games and the fun they can
create?</div>
</blockquote>I think it has to do with the historical background JP companies have with console gaming. This gen has had a massive spike in western developed games for console and along with that came expectations for a cinematic experience. There are a truckload of western devs who make fun games but I’m talking about the usual suspects. Then you have long time JP devs who try to emulate the west only to lose half their essence. I’m not against certain games focusing on an emersive experience but good to know the companies you listed still cater to people looking for a “traditional” gameplay experience.<br><br><br><br></div>
</blockquote>

^That’s actually one good way of looking at it. But there’s a lot of western titles that are great gameplay wise. I think it all stems from focusing on what’s most important which is gameplay mechanics. If the gameplay mechanics are a joy to mess with then the game will be a joy to mess with as well assuming art and sound isn’t miserable. That’s why a game like Shinobi PS2 can look like crap but be fun as hell and why a game like Mortal Kombat 9 can have a gazillion mutations of its gameplay just as well Crysis having a ton of ways to tackle the game’s situations. <div><br></div><div>So I don’t really think that the “fun” in gameplay is lost to any culture but it’s just a choice made by each development team the moment they start designing a game.</div><div><br></div><div><blockquote class=“Quote” style=“font-size: 10pt;”><div class=“QuoteAuthor”><a href=“http://forums.shoryuken.com/profile/61815/Freakmonkey”>Freakmonkey</a> said:</div><div class=“QuoteText”><br><blockquote class=“Quote”><div class=“QuoteAuthor”><a href=“http://forums.shoryuken.com/profile/7367/Mr.%20X”>Mr. X</a> said:</div><div class=“QuoteText”>I would pay for fist fighting DLC weapon<br><br>He has nails, let him slash people open for Blade Mode<br></div></blockquote>Fuck yes, absolutely. Gekko as in “gekkou” meaning moonlight in Japanese, it seems like Gekko is a blanket term for the mechs, since the Gekkos you’re thinking of are called Irvings. Note also that gecko the lizard is spelled with a “c”.

The dwarf gekkos are also called scarabs <br>
