Like I said man they said it’s cannon and it is their vision. I’m not too satisfied with the entire MG story due to its inconsistencies. If anything Kojima made it too complicated even for himself. I do like the characters, lore and some of the topics it covers but KP overall considers it cannon. It’s not like I can write off MGS4 just because of the inconsistencies in the story line.

Guess we have to agree to disagree and take it the way we want to.
well it was state of the art military grade in 2014, it’s just “standard” for high end military in 2018 I guess lol

Technology Marches On.
Two grenades and a Homing Missile did it for me… Not sure why people are getting invisible walls, though.

Wow guess I should have tried more than one RPG. >_>

I figured they wanted me to see it directly or something. Will try this again when I play through Revengeance. I also noticed this game having titles like MGS4 when you beat the game. Wonder if there is a title for perfect stealth segments.
I never liked MGS4 raidens outfit til now. fighting gekkos with that skin on is pretty gdlk

Just started Very Hard. I got a D rank on the first part of fighting MG Ray because I didn’t know you needed to parry his headbutts too in order to continue the fight. lol~ It’s awesome that the fight changed a bit. Looking forward to more boss fights and how they’ve changed.
Wait till you fight Monsoon/Sam in Rev <span style=“font-family: ‘lucida grande’, ‘Lucida Sans Unicode’, tahoma, sans-serif; line-height: 1.7em;”>Then you will understand the meaning of pain.
<span style=“font-family: ‘lucida grande’, ‘Lucida Sans Unicode’, tahoma, sans-serif; line-height: 1.7em;”>

<span style=“font-family: ‘lucida grande’, ‘Lucida Sans Unicode’, tahoma, sans-serif; line-height: 1.7em;”>Getting the flawless on Monsoon was so fucking tedious. Hate that boss so so so so so much :(

When I started on Revengeance, I was wondering if they would throw more new enemies into the prologue area, and then on my way to the fence I forgot about the rocket grunt there and one rocket took 80%. Needless to say I immediately restarted the checkpoint and just ran through the fence on the second time around. Fuck that noise.
That’s cause you aren’t using Pincer Blades. They are incredibly useful to open up a new round of enemies with a charge attack. Instantly kills groups of peons and as long as you had time to charge before they appeared, it’s faster than raw Blade mode. Also they help a ton on Berserkers

I am using Pincer Blades. My loadout is ALWAYS Sam’s HF Blade+Pincer Blades. They’re why I don’t care for the Armor Breaker HF Blade. It’s just at times, the dudes in VR seem to fight better than the dudes on Very Hard.

Gotta step my game up.cracks cyborg knuckles
Haven’t read through the posts the past few days, but the game is awesome.

Stopped playing after the Monsoon boss fight cuz I haven’t had time but its awesome. There’s just something about cutting enemies in half and then smashing their electrolytes(or whatever) that makes you feel good.
My favorite “setup” is the slide into Zandatsu. Shits so badass.

Also, for those who haven’t and are planning on ordering a shirt from Uniqlo, order a size up. I normally get most of my T-shirts as a large but it was a bit small. Still bad as hell though.

I loved this game til close to the end when it became a Suda51 game. Then I loved it even more.

I remember when people hated on the hang on and afterburner levels in Bayonetta. Then Rising comes along and Raiden hacks into a plane and rides a bike yet we don’t get to use them at all. Platinum listens to fans… :(
I just noticed the police officer shot first and said “pull over” second.

What the fuck? Lol

That was the implication behind the whole sequence, even in the trailer. Raiden’s shrug “you better arrest me then” after looking at his car, which they shot a rocket at without hesitation, is just him saying “yeah just stop pretending to be actual cops and lets get this over with”.

I loved the background music for that area, though. I’ve never been more hype to cut cops in half.
They mistook Raiden for a large black man driving a large SUV/truck.
