I’ve never tried it myself but BMC looks like you’re pretty much tapping Blade Mode then releasing ASAP. This shortens to recovery on attacks.

The last time I ever actually stopped to admire the detail and animation of a in game model was on Shinobi for PS2. Sometimes I just rotate the camera to look at Desperado Raiden and Gray Fox.

The letdown with Bloodlust for me was that it’s used in pincer blade mode only. Sundowner was dual wielding which was pretty boss. True, it doesn’t have a lot of moves but it’s pretty much unstoppable and rips through any defense. I’ve stunned large armored enemies in under second with it. It’s useless imo in VR missions because you have everything at a base level.
Even though I was aware of it at the beginning, for some reason I completely forgot about the upgrades and just played through the game without them… on hard mode. Bout to try a Hard Run. I don’t look forward to fighting the final boss, he was a bastard on Normal. I still need to run through the game again anyways, missed out on a few Left Arms and VR Missions

Very Hard=Beat Hard. Revengeance=Beat Very Hard or use the Konami code.

Not too fond of kill all enemies VR Missions. Odd that I can cancel into parry stance and evade rather well ob Very Hard, yet I seem to to having more trouble with it in VR Missions.
<font face=“Arial, Verdana” size=“2”><span style=“line-height: normal;”>The final boss is a lot easier after the first time, he’s not particularly different in hard compared to normal.<div style=“font-family: Arial, Verdana; font-size: 10pt; font-style: normal; font-variant: normal; font-weight: normal; line-height: normal;”>

<div style=“font-family: Arial, Verdana; font-size: 10pt; font-style: normal; font-variant: normal; font-weight: normal; line-height: normal;”>Monsoon on the other hand is 1000x worse each time you step the difficulty up

Final Boss tactic

[details=Spoiler]
I just did 2 heavy attacks and dodge/BMC my second playthrough
You can ignore the Metal Gear chucking parts by ninja running away
If you do the parts, you get 3-4 nanopaste
YOU HAVE TO AIM BLADE MODE WITH BOTH STICKS no need to change settings, just move the camera and angle blade mode properly
YOU DON’T NEED TO HIT ALL 4 SQUARES DURING THIS, 3 is enough IIRC
When he’s healing, note the yellow zandatsu square! Get behind him and Blade Mode the back of his head

His attacks glows yellow he is grabbing, spam defensive offensive to get away
He has another lunge attack, he’ll come at you with a glowing fist, parry or get hit (or don’t get take damage from what I remember) and you’ll get a QTE, it does a good chuck of damage to him for succeeding either. Both make you retrieve your sword.
His fire attacks, the only annoying one is the huge pillars that take a while to go away. The other 2 you can dodge and the cracked Earth one has tells, stand in a spot where the ground isn’t cracked.
You can evade the big boom he does but it’s better to dodge immediately when you see it and run away or keep dodging back to get away fast
His lunge kick he can feint, sometimes dodge hits and clashes sometime you’ll get away, I think it’s better to parry this or parry and if it’s a feint dodge or parry his 4-5 hit combo.

[/details]
