Anyone have advice for VR Training 7? The 3rd wave always fucks me up instantly

I’ve been playing NG through and absolutely loving it (hard as tits, though); is NG2 worth playing, or is it shit?<div><br></div><div>Delivery for MGR cost about £7 for guaranteed release date… I could have just walked two minutes to the nearest GAME.</div><div><br></div><div>Anyone know if Raiden ever gets a mask, or if there’s an alt costume with his face covered? I know one activates when you use detective mode, but I don’t wanna play the whole game with a blue tinge.</div>

You can’t play the game in detective mode anyway, if you ever attack or use Ninja Run it turns it off automatically.<br><div><br></div><div><br></div><div><br></div><div>Also HOLY FUCK I need help for the VR missions. It’s going to be insanely hard to Gold medal them all. 18 is several rounds of enemies on Revengeance difficulty with you at default health and energy. I rarely make it past the second wave(two Mastiffs, some tripods) and the third(two hammer peons, one dog, some tripods) has always fucked me up. </div>

Some people like NG2 over 1 due to the faster pace of combat and the OT
Kick cancel. The overall consensus is NG2>Sigma 2 but if Sigma 2 is
your only option play it anyway. It’s much better than some may lead you

I’m glad you pointed this out. MGR is gonna have some crazy combo
videos, seriously in what hardcore action game can you combo into
weapons like these lol? Right now I think people are underestimating
what this game truly has to offer there still is a lot of mystery. <br><br>
I just got MGR and played the first level and you guys were not kidding. There´s no preparing for this game. My body was not ready, at all.<div>This is how you start your game.</div>
Finally, I’m done with my first playthrough…<br><br>Man, that final boss was tough. Dude kicked my ass for about an hour before I beat him. Dodge-slash really saved my butt a ton of times. The fact that I didn’t have nanopastes left didn’t help. I was about to regret starting on hard then I got my shit together and really learned to dodge-slash the fire attacks. Also, that dodge-slash owns the boss’ grabs…<br><br>Unlocked a lot of stuff too.<br><br>Raiden’s desperado skin really looks sick…<br>
Got my copy from Game and my Gray Fox code isn’t working. I guess it’s because the game isn’t out till Friday?
I’m pissed, I won’t be able to play until Sunday, got plans.
We need to start nailing down how and where and when you get all the goodies in the game. This game was short like how Vanquish is short but it does what Vanquish didn’t do which was have some actual replay value in the form of unlockables and VR missions.
I do wish that bosses were separate affairs in chapters. Also I really can’t wait until Konami specifys what will come to NA 360s and what won’t.

Parrying at lest the vertical chops still causes damage so use dodge or run to avoid them.<br>

My Gray Fox code for PS3 worked last night. Then again, I also just purchased the game last night.
Holy shit, I love the remixed encounters on Very Hard. Totally different game, it’s amazing(ly cheap).<br><br>[details=Spoiler]The GRAD introduction sequence from Easy/Normal/Hard spawns two of them now, plus all the exploding tank pieces have to be cut or else they’ll explode and knock you down. I think they have new attacks too, or atleast I never had an issue with them in Hard. They fire projectiles that you can’t deflect with Ninja run WHILE MOVING, and they have a launch attack that bangs you against the roof of the room and then they shoot a couple of cannon shots at you while you’re there. I think one of them is stronger than the other one too, because I couldn’t stun-lock the remaining one with the Sai like I did to his buddy[/details]<br><blockquote class=“Quote”>

Most of his attacks cause damage even on parry, so dodge them. When he starts spawning gekkos, just run. Once he swipes a gekko with the laser, run over and try to get the zandatsu. If you are successful and go into the animation, the next laser pass will just go right through you while Raiden is posing. When he starts swiping the ground with swords you jump over the ground swipes and ninja run through the double swipes. <br>
So my Grey Fox and Inferno codes don’t work 
anyone else having trouble with them? I’m in the UK if that makes any difference
