I really want a game where I get to control a PMC troupe like Rat Patrol during the War Economy and using the Drebin’s to upgrade my team.
And no not Peace Walker. I hear it’s awesome, it looks cool, but it’s during the wrong time period and lacks some of the ideas i want.
I hope we get cool extras. Ghost Babel is probably one of my fav Metal Gear games, because it had so much cool extra shit that came with it. That little ass cart had VR missions, boss rush, and Extra missions. The extra missions were crazy.
“Snake. We’ve implanted a bomb in your chest. Complete the mission without pausing for more than a second, or it will explode”
“Snake. Beat Metal Gear with less equipment and shit flying around shooting you, that wasn’t there before.”
Well, it is being developed by Platinum, and they usually stock their games full of a lot of extra modes and unlockables.
Wow I’m really surprised by all this. I never dabbled much in the non canon Metal Gear games (mainly cause they are mostly portable console exclusive and I rarely buy those) but all those extras sound really cool.
I have to say my biggest gripe with MGS4 was I felt like there just wasn’t enough content. I would have loved some more free form playable modes cause I loved the engine. Some kind of mini campaign with Drebin upgrades involved would have been fun. Maybe share unlockables with your story mode save?
Ghost Babel was awesome. Everything about it was great. Really fun game…except the conveyor belt puzzle. Fuck that thing.
Oh most definitely. lol. That was easily one of the more tedious things to do in the entire series. I think it took me like 30-40 minutes my first time trying to complete it. smh
…I was stuck on it for like a week. So fucking lame.

MGS4 is flawless. It’s obvious a lot of people don’t like it… that’s because they don’t have the mental capacity to understand and appreciate it’s complexities and genius. There’s more than enough gameplay, too. It’s called Metal Gear Online. Jesus, how much more shit do you want there to be in such a huge ass game like this? It’s the PERFECT package. Fuck outta here with that shit, and FUCK this Revengeance nonsense. Changing it’s place in the MGS timeline and cutting up robots instead of humans is a deal breaker. Horrendous. That’s now two games Platinum Games will fuck up in a row. The first will be Anarchy Reigns.
If anyone played Vanquish they will know they rock when it comes to robots,cyborgs unmanned suits etc. I’m not sweating it and the humans would have been practice dummies anyway.

I don’t really play big titles for the multiplayer aspect, but the single player looks like it will keep more than enough of my time… I like the way the combat is shaping up… two playable main characters and all…
