Just was playing with some of you guys on my lunch break, was fun. Switching between Shield and Knife seems pretty effective, but I need some more practice with it. I enjoy trying to plant S.O.P Destabilizers more than anything. Klvt or whoever is in the SRK clan was tearing it up. GGs.
Have any of you guys seen/read about how if you get Level 4 Knife Mastery you can purchase the HF Blade in Drebin’s Shop? If so, wow.
You were def. kicking ass with the knife. I notice that you grab the person, crouch then let them go and slash them. You did it to me a couple of times, my sn is Krytos. You also SOP destab.'ed us twice. Nice!

haha i know! i remember you were on the staircase and i accidentally shot you in the head. i think ive killed you a bunch of times while we were on the same team actually. but anyways, you were also killing me with that m4, good stuff!
What do S.O.P destablizers do? Are they like stun grenades?
i dont know exactly. have you seen the metal gear solid 4 trailer, where all of the foxhound members get all woozy and fall down to the ground. i think that is what it is. basically the enemies just stand around and make weird noises and you can kill them.
They incapacitate the entire enemy team, no matter where they are on the map, for anywhere between 15-30 seconds (don’t know quite yet). Remember in the E3 2007 trailer when the PMCs start groaning and they keel over in pain? It’s like that. Opponents actually kind of sound like zombies while they’re affected by this.

why is it taking so long to level up the rifle 
Yeah, you killed me a couple times, its all good though. When we work as a team, like partner up, we kick much more ass. Like that time where the guy grabbed you and I came up and threw him down and we pumped him full of lead.
There are lots of people playing this game like COD4 or Halo, just running and gunning all alone, but I think that makeing groups of 2 or 3 helps a lot and using a lot more sneaky tactics works.
This game is amazing!! Can’t wait till the full thing so we can have more levels and maybe new weapons and stuff.
Organize a time and day for all of us to play, because 1 on 1 (so far) in this game is really boring. =/
If there’s at least 4 of us on the same team, we gotta try this at least once:
All of us go into cardboard boxes in a non-heavily trafficked area. We wait for some hapless fuck to run by. He’s got to be looking in our direction, (that’s the hard part), we toss off the boxes and charge the poor guy.

I’m trying to fix the game up so that it will let me host a game, it keeps saying error for some reason. I have a 10 meg. connection so lag should be minimal. Can anyone help? I’ve forwarded ports but it still won’t let me for some reason.

Hmm. It just came out, so you’d have to narrow down a youtube search to vids that came out in the past few days. And of course watch out for music videos masquerading as MGO footage.
But other than that, I don’t know of any “real” gaming sites that have matches up. I’ve seen a couple impression articles, but that’s it.

TBH, EU (though I don’t live there) has been getting the short stick with a lot of games. It’s good (yet agonizing) to see them come up nice somewhere.

I’m a Euro dude (well New Zealand but we are playing the Euro game)
Played Snake mode.
Lots of fun. One guy plays as snake and is fitted with OtcoCam (predator styles) and two other teams go at it. If Snake gets the required number of dogtags he wins. So he has to sneak up on you, knock you out and then tap you for the tag. He’s also got the Tranquilizer gun to help him out.
Unsure who gets allocated as snake whether it’s just the host, the winner or random. Also if enough slots are full someone gets to be that little camera on wheels thing apparently. DIdn’t see it for myself though.
Also dudes getting mad good at working to together. Had one guy run into a alley with me chasing him and then stabbed in the back by a knife guy popping out of the shadows. So it’s good to see more SOP tactics popping up to take my scrubby ass out.
We’ve also got a new map. The middle eastern setting. My favorite stage so far.
