MGO needs better netcode, imo. Many times I’ve shot someone in the head and it does nothing, or I try to shoot and someone skips/jumps around, which fucks with my aim.
What times do yall hop on Survival on Saturday? Two weeks ago I hopped on and messaged a few peeps, but I wasn’t able to get some games in. I formed a noob group and we lost like 30 to 40 games in a row. It was mad fun, though. No one was pressed about winning or losing; no pressure. We just wanted points to get some gear, so even when we lost, we were psyched because we were still getting points :lol:
We played so many level 15+ groups that were like “just quit and leave now” when our group joined the room, lol.
I miss PS2 MGO where peeps didn’t have to worry about Survival. Ninjas be gettin’ pressed over nothing in this game.
Well…if Konami doesn’t care, then they don’t care. But the reality probably is: the people working at Konami to maintain servers/translate news announcemets/run the NA website etc., actually DO CARE. They PROBABLY just don’t have the power/resources to affect any change since I’m sure MGO is NOT at the top of Konami corporate’s priority list and everything is centralized in Japan anyway.
But to be fair – they ARE taking a survey. And they HAVE tried to fix a few balancing issues, deathlooping, etc. in the past. So I like to think there are SOME people at Konami who care about MGO. A friend of mine there who works in the marketing department likes/plays MGO himself and he knows how bad it is.
And Solid Fox is right, they probably won’t pour much more development money into MGO. And if they do it’ll most likely be spent on new special characters and/or gimmicks to sell units. I was just thinking about it from the perspective of someone at Konami with limited power who actually cares about MGO — “what could I REALLY do with what I’ve got?” A: Hire “GM interns” and try to clean up some of the mess
Well, whatever…here’s hoping SOMETHING positive comes out of this whole survey effort. Even if it’s just more 24 HR Survival days! XD
I dont care about most of the things anyway. all I asked for is if there is HARD evidence of glitching then you get a permenant ps3 mac address ban. then maybe these clowns will think twice about glitching ever again. dont think the “lulz” is worth buying a new ps3.

Well as far as casual rooms are concerned they are always fun here and there. But sometimes survival is good, sometimes it’s not. It’s almost the luck of the draw.
lol box being cheap? i try to shoot every box that looks suspicious to me… then i try remembering where and where they aren’t
and for the camping… it’s a third person shooter… you have more of a field of view… that way you don’t have to just run out and get shot… but then others can do it as well… that’s why i love/hate mgo… and that’s why i love 16 man rooms… cuz then there’s more faces to get shot
but those are things that people have said… and those are cod players… along with more quotes that are scrubby… imo mgo is faster than any fps… that’s pretty much why i always play with runner3

also how effective is using VZ(free) in drebin base modes? figured I could save up DP for rpg then take out many at once from bases.

Jesus, I DID NOT enjoy playing MGO last night. I swear in this one game of TSNE I played, the host was such an asshole. He’s skilled I’ll give him that, but when his team was FINALLY about to lose, he restarts the round. Not only that, he did this AT LEAST 4 more times. <_<
Man, I miss going to the JOHNNY room, the players may be noobish but at least they have a shred of dignity. T__T
