That doesn’t really fly with me. Capcom set an expectation and they didn’t meet it. A lot of people put down real money on pre-orders motivated by the promise of this Beta, took time off work/arranged babysitting/shirked responsibilities to get on this the moment it was supposed to drop.
You don’t get to waste everyone’s time and then hide behind “it’s a beta” or “other companies have done it much worse.” Either make sure it works or don’t make those promises at all.
