So is there a way to unlock all of the characters? A patch maybe?
Alright I just got the game going and unfortunately as of now I don’t have a ps2 adapter so I’m going to have to use the keyboard. Anyone know the controls for the keyboard?:o

For Keyboard, arrow keys are U/L/D/R, and N/M/,/. are A/B/C/D. F5 pauses.

was playing len with sion in mbr and just as i defeated her i kicked len’s body just before she hit the ground. she popped up and froze in midair. the round didnt end until i went over and attacked her suspended body again, which made her fall to the floor. wondering if the same effect can occur mid match.

The game doesn’t recognize the match replay in the versus menu, yet it does in training mode but obviously doesn’t load. 
Anyone else have this problem with bacardi’s replay?

Yeah I did that. It’s not that the file isn’t a RPD, it’s that the game can’t recongize it. I had no problem converting VMM’s txt replays.
Not that it matters now though.
Yeah, the PS2 pad is great for this. 
I just can’t jump air dash cancel well with it.

lol i keep trying to dash under them or parry them as most of the other characters can dash underneath them or I am trying to hold down forward cuz she can crawl under them. I didnt show how broken that bitch really is cuz its not cool to just spam cat rockets and jumping fierce with her

yes, that bitch is dumb… don’t worry walter, by the time you get back im sure ill have messed around with something and came up with an actual combo into that fucking headcrush super…
also, a lot of times bacardi was messing around with different ways of countering/blocking certain things, as was I. I was trying to see how practical using the activation as a counter, but it’s hard to tap down 3 times that fast as a counter move.
Also, when I finally get this installed today (got MB installed, now I gotta do react), ill watch the vids and point out anything interesting.
I got this game working two nights ago and have been pretty much addicted since - right now it’s beginning the takeover of the house as the “new game” and everyone’s building up their first few preferred characters.
I’m still sorta working on Shiki Nanaya, Nero Chaos, and normal Sion.
just to keep things simple, can you guys give me a hint as to where in this thread the patch for react is? i got melty blood working and then i got react working, now i just need to patch and im gonna watch those match vids…
oh yea, as far as the j.C loop goes with Chaos, you can actually link 4 of them together if you didn’t use up any of your double jumps…

does like 5000 damage… not too bad for a 10,000 point lifebar for landing 1 hit or a counterhit…lol chaos is too broken, punishing 1 frame and shit with that super, invincible dash, jumping and crouching c… c.a owns too, mad quick with that much range and it chain/links (you can’t cancel off first hit, but cancel off 3rd hit, so it’s like a ghetto chain, not a masher character like most of the ones in the game) and you can go into an aircombo after that actually, didn’t know that until i played it for myself today, im working on comboing the headcrush super after activating…
im having a problem installing react now. for some reason when i installed it at home, then at work they both worked fine. of course, when i took the game to my friends house and tried installing it to show them, it didn’t work right, allow me to elaborate.
like normally, i drug the melty blood dir out from the melty blood cd, and that works fine. then, i tried installing the expansion but when i tried using the react self extractor (to get all the files i need to play react) i get this weird error that i can’t read because it’s obviously in japanese. anyone had this similar prob?
eh, here’s how i installed it
- burned the image to disc, took everything out of it and put it in a folder. Didn’t install anything.
2.put all the ReACT stuff in the same folder and used the self-extractor.
- downloaded the patch into the same folder, extracted everything, and replaced the mbr.exe file, when i load up the game it’s ver 2.001
took me like 5 mins to do everything… just dump it all in the same folder and move your replay folder if it puts it in the wrong place, and everything should work fine…
