s.Jab can’t do 9 hits any more, I can do only about 4 or 5 now.
air strong does good damage, in a sense that it doesn’t leave “red” part of bar much at all.
Dash has high invincibility in the end. This guy’s ground dash is really fast, dash cancel into ground chain, and then dash back if it’s blocked, seems useful. It’s just like gundamwing ed as in how this guy plays! It’s great. Dash is really safe and you can even mix it up with qcb+shield or qcf+shield counters.
After air combo don’t kock them down, do d,d on air and set up for hcf+fierce unblockable. btw hcf+fierce doesn’t catch if you’re right next to them(…)
Air d,d seems pretty useless otherwise though, but it’s kinda fun to do

Wow. This game got a lot more popular than I had imagined it to. The original wasn’t too well known from what I’ve seen. Anyway, for those of you with the 2.0001 patch, hold Shield while selecting arcade mode to enter Giant Attack.
The original was not well known simply because Yukinoze did not put a video of it.
It was well known in Japan, since Tsukihime stormed the doujinshi game scene. But since it is an independent game, no way it was going to be brought overseas or have any press. But to those who know about doujinshi or Japanese games, saying doujinshi fighter equals Melty Blood and Eternal Fighter Zero.
I knew how popular it was in Japan. I’ve seen all the random doujinshi games that Tsukihime has spawned. But still, I was quite surprised to see a 150+ post thread on the game. You’re right though, Yukinose putting up vids of the game probably had a pretty big influence on the game’s overseas popularity.
Yeah I knew that much, I just wanted to know which button you hold down and in what condition you have to be in to do it. For some reason I can’t find hers like I could find Ciel’s/Katsuki’s/ect.
Holy Knight - Nice av! Yeah, the timing on the aircombo from cr. B is tough…and yeah it’s easier to go with A instead. How much damage did your combo do? It’s possible to get 4001 or something like that in a variation of the combo, but I only did it once and forgot what I did. For the launcher, I do 214 +that shield button.
cygnus - daaamn! I didn’t know you can combo after a throw for Len. That is freaking useful, I’m gonna go experiment with that.
Here’s a little crossup thing I’ve been working on with Hisui and Kohaku. I’ve been also trying to do a high/low version, but the super timing is weird, it either comes out really early or really late.
Just wanted to drop a line to say that this game is pretty dam fun to play. I just got it working today and having a blast trying out new combos or what not. I was messing around with most of hte character, will post a replay when I stumble into something that everyone might like. Alright well keep the replays coming and talk to you all later.
