New replays on up at Yukinose’s site. 4 is Maids v.s. Wara, highlight is watching Hisui own keepaway Wara. Funny moment: Wara ending the round with an EX Katto wallslaming both maids. 6 is Ciel v.s. Maids, highlight watching Ciel pull off some crossups and escaping a Kohaku Last Arc through her 236+C. Funny moment: Ciel does EX Swords and Kohaku jumps over and bombs her. :lol: 7 is Wara v.s. Arc, highlight Arc nailing a last arc to come from behind and win.
Oh, heh heh. I’m dumb.

I played some ReACT at Evolution on Friday.
I never actually practiced the game before (unless you count G-Attack) so I was busy asking how to do certain moves and combos most of the time. I don’t think I provided very much competition for anyone. I just tried to copy whatever I remembered seeing on yukinose’s site, which was why I kept picking Hisui/Kohaku. They’re fun to use, but they don’t possess the beastly qualities that Nanaya has.
Good games to all and I hope someone brings a laptop on Saturday so we can get some more games in.

Evo was kinda fun. The good times had by fighting Mynus, Lovely Kitsune, and other random people were balanced out by the long, long periods of nobody playing ReAct. heh Luckily for oh so unprepared me, a nice guy by the name of Michael lent a sidewinder and X-Arcade for use. Not to mention the one guy who helped me lug my comp monitor out to the BYOC room.
Most people came up and said WTF is that game, said it looked real nice, played one game and left. A few people told their friends and came back with a couple more people. Almost all were convinced they would acquire a copy of this game. So I introduced a small amount of fighting game fans to ReAct, but didn’t get any high level comp aside from Mynus and Lovely Kitsune.
I should’ve gotten some more of the Mynus matches, or even some of my matches with my normal Akiha. She ruled, my IAD B landed many launch combos and after I got them scared I grabbed them with Origami :D. But all I have are some replays of mostly me v.s. Lovely Kitsune. In all replays player 1 is them and I’m player 2. Not that great unfortunately, the Shikis match is pretty good. That was a Mynus v.s. me match. All you can probably get from them is that I like throwing people. Wara v.s. AkaAkiha, and Shikis match.
Oh, and I ran into some japanese players who had ReAct on their laptop in the main hall. They were playing broken v2.000 though. The Warakia and Satsuki player beat me down every single time, the Miyako player I was 70/30 loss/win, the fourth and fifth guys who didn’t play just one character got beaten down by me. 
Mainly I played broken VSion and Ren. I think I impressed them with Ren’s EX Ice Blade, ground throw, OTG, EX Ice Blade, repeat till death combo (The warakia player wanted to play my Ren), my Akiha, and my few attempts at infinites with VSion. =p
I wish I could go to the last two days of Evo, I imagine at least a few more people will go to the BYOC room looking for ReAct. But I have work in a few hours and already spent my day off going yesterday. Hope someone else brings ReAct to Evo.

alright i just bought melty blood and react but i can’t get them to load on my computer. I have a japanese language pack installed but when the program starts to load i get jibberish. after pressingsome buttone the game seems to load into a directory but after complition i get an erro thats in jibberish too.
anybody know what to do?
How did you install the game?
thats what i’m trying to say i can’t get it to install. when i input the game disc it auto loads the install program but everything is in gibberish and question marks. then i click 1 of the button and it appears to be installing. when it reaches 100% i get some kinda of error but it’s gibberish too. something about the manual on the disc. i don’t know. any help would be great
I think it has happened to me in other Watanabe games. The problem IIRC is about the install program not being able to make a last step that involves Japanese characters, which the system cannot do because the language setting is in English.
Make sure to put your language settings to Japanese when you install Melty Blood. Installing the language pack is not enough
Control Panel > Regional and Language Options > Advanced > Put Japanese instead of English (US) in the drop down list > reboot
When you install MB you should now see Japanese characters instead of gibberish. Install MB, then ReACT (in a different folder) and then you can switch back to English.
Or you can use a little nifty util MS made called AppLocale. It will temporarily switch your Window’s language settings to another language for one application… Just run the installer from AppLocale, set it in japanese(the last option in AppLocale’s language drop down list) and you’ll be set.
well i got them on but they seem to not play right or something. i don’t see any menues and the text is weird and broken. when i get to fighting i don’t see any life bars and letters appear behind my character whent they move. react starts up but after character selection it shuts off. is this due to not having my comp set to 32 bit color?
Could be that or that your video card is not supported.
