Stand/crouching restriction was removed in AC/FT.
It’s now “ground” or “air”.
Is it just me or does anyone else experience some lag or some unresponsiveness while using the ps2 pad with radio shack convertors?
holy crap! i did not know this! all this time ive been doing 5d w/ shiki for his last arc when i could have done it from the crouch position(2d). >_< d’oh. well that eliminates some stress from the mind game being that more than 1/2 of of incoming attacks r crouching attacks.
uuhh, thats cuz ps2 controllers sucks enormous nadz. i mean, come on, where the phuk r the diagonals. its bad enough mb’s controls r tight, no 7 9 1 or 3 makes it that much harder. i couldnt IAD or tiger-knee flame (akiha)on a ps2 contrl if my life depended on it. that saitech shyt is dead sexy tho. u should invest in that. u r definately gettting more for your buck w/ that purchase.

I did what you guys said. Goto Blood Heat. At blood heat use shield(the thing that sparks when you press) and time it when a person attacks.
Make sure its Blood Heat and not just Heat (you activate Blood Heat by pressing ABC in AC mode or 222+D in PC mode during Heat).
If you are using Ciel or Arc, you have to shield while jumping.
Or Ren and MeHisui.
What do y’all use to turn replay states into wmv mpeg or avi files? I got alot more match replays than last night.

I didn’t think this game ever existed since I haven’t even heard of Melty Blood until seeing these vids. IMO it appears to be a good 2-D fighting game and hopefully it’ll come out on a console so that way I can try it out for myself.

I finally got this game to work on my laptop. One quick quesion…Is AC or PC mode generally used and why? Thanks.
AC mode over PC mode.
PC mode doesn’t allow for Heavy Attack -> Air throw. Also the game is ASS at detecting Throws properly in PC mode (whiffed throws on people who are in the air when your intention was to use a heavy attack as anti air).
I use PC mode just because I play with the keyboard. Since they keyboard sometimes does not allow three or more keys to be pressed at the same time, activating Heat/Blood Heat and throwing can be an issue.
So yeah, in this case, I am handicapped. Unless I somehow remap the keyboard keys.
you can use the MBR shortcuts if you play on keys but those blow and it’s a bad idea to get used to them anyway.
