Melty Blood Act Cadenza Ver.B - PC Edition

I need to get this game.

There’s also #SRM on mint.sayuri.ca

this might be the wrong area to ask this (I’m also on meltybread) but since it pertains to the pc version I think it’ll be okay.

I have an opportunity to get the PS2 version of Act Cadenza.

What I want to know is if it’s worth getting or should I just stick with the pc version (which I play now)

PC version.

PS2 is outdated and pretty much obsolete already.

:3

 fair enough.

for some odd reason I can’t get this to work, when I put in the disk it installs then this little window comes up and when I click the desktop icon to play, this window comes up and says “retry” and i click it and nothing happens and the retry window keeps coming up…

I reallyt wanna get into this game and play it online

its cause you d/l’ed it illegally. Go buy something. : ) seriously though its cause you don’thave the cd.

yep :stuck_out_tongue:

No, it’s not. Whenever you first start up MBverB it will require the cd to be in the cd drive. That goes for if you dled it or if you bought it. People who have bought it dl the nocd patch but I find that unnecessary since it doesn’t ask for the cd again after the first time.

I have link of it can I put it here as a post ?

If you haven’t heard, me and another member ‘Sp00ky’ figured out how to get custom music into Melty Blood. For the instructions on how to do it yourself, see meltybread’s forums.

This is the first mix I’ve done for Melty, it was a rap request for a friend. It’s available for anyone else who may want it, just make sure you back up the original 10.p. What you do is you place this 10.p into Melty’s directory, and you’re done. I’m sure you’re gonna want your original music back though, so like I said before put the original 10.p somewhere safe.

Tell me if it works? I don’t have Melty available to test.

Don’t feel like searching the thread for the answer so, Can you play this game online on pc? Someone mentioned it and got me intrigued. And if so, how is it lag wise? The small time that I actually played this gameon the ps2 was pretty entertaining.

Yes you can, using mbcaster or cowcaster-mb. The old mbcaster is pretty much deprecated at this point so you should use the cowcaster for mb.

Lag wise it’s very good with the new caster for under 4 delay. Local or same-coast games are usually 2-3 delay setting which means 2-3 frame input delay and 60fps speed which feels really good (normal speed and only 2 frame input delay is nothing). Cross-coast (like cali to ny) is usually 4-5 delay so 4-5 frame input delay with about 60fps speed though sometimes you get some chop.

Personally I think 4delay and up is kind of crappy for this game because that’s when it really feels noticeable and things tend to get dropped or lost. But yeah, some one on the east coast can play anywhere from like Florida and east Canada comfortably.

Being that you’re in Texas you should be able to play with Cali comfortably.

That’s pretty neat. Sucks that I didn’t know about this sooner. I think I’ll wait until Melty Blood: Actress Again comes out this year before spending money on this. Thanks for the heads up, though.
