Patch 1.01, corrects memory problems and now it loads really fast (my RAM sucks so this was sent from heaven to me) and now the Game Over screen can be skipped.

But when you add the patch, for some reason the opening movie doesn’t show. But the music for it plays. But a minor loss for faster loading especially in Team/Tag Battle matches where it really matters.

EDIT: The only time the intro doesn’t show up is when you run Full Screen. In windowed mode the intro shows up fine.

God, the wait for this game is killin’ me. It’s on the truck for delivery right now so it won’t be too much longer I guess. Oddly enough, the one thing I’m wondering about is the graphical options like if we’ll have a choice of resolutions, filters, etc.

you sure? She should be in the bottom right corner of the character select screen.

Oh, and anyone know what 666 mode is? I haven’t unlocked it yet, but I’m curious.

And the soundtrack CD is pretty nice. On a good sound system, this music is fantastic.

666 mode is the crazy VS-style boss fight in a time-trial format. Melty Blood: ReACT had Giant Akiha pulling an Apocalypse complete with arm drill and laser-eyes, but since the original Story mode isn’t around anymore, they replaced her with Neko Chaos Black G666, who will kick your ass 10x harder than Onslaught ever could.

I feel stupid for asking, but:

1. Will installing this override the English patch that came out recently? Wondering if I should wait to update until after I finish MB’s story.

2. How is the tagging system? More like Marvel, or different?

Act Cadenza is a separate game, it won’t overwrite MB/R/FT in any way.

The tag is like marvel, except you run in from the side instead of doing a dive kick.
