I am in a little argument.

I say that Captain America is taller than Iron Man.

I believe this is true, but only if you measure tony stark without the suit.

Now, do we consider the suit a necessary condition for iron man? Or just the person themselves? Tony Stark says in the movie “I am iron man” when he is not wearing the suit, but at the same time, everyone pictures the suit when you say ironman.

Look 'em up in the Marvel Encyclopedia.

it will give their respective heights. If it says yes, then yes.

Captain America / Steve Rogers is 6’2". Iron Man / Tony Stark is 6’1" without the armor on. With the armor on he is 6’6".
