What’s the interest in a bi weekly (or monthly) meet up in the Sliver Spring area? I can’t really make it out to Baltimore on Wednesdays, so I was thinking something closer for those of us that can’t make it. I was thinking maybe at my place, beer and pizza, SF4? I dunno, just judging interest.

Cool. Even if it’s just a couple of people, it would still be cool. I’m like 3 blocks from the Wheaton Metro station, so it’s pretty easy access for those who don’t have cars.

This is the problem I am running into. I don’t know any places to have multiple TVs, would allows us to be there, etc. I have my place, which is decent size, but still, it’s just one TV, and I have the common area in my apartment complex, but still, only one TV, although it is larger. I will look around, see what I can find.

I already posted it. Its a PS3 singles tournament at 8PM at the STAMP student union inside Terpzone on the basement level. No entrance fee.

Alright, I’ve done some checking around, and I couldn’t really find a public place for us to have a meet up so I’ve decided to maybe having something at my place. I’m thinking May 1st, any time after 6 or 7 PM. We could order some food, get some drinks, etc. I only have a 360 with SF4 and HDR, so if you want to play something else, you are gonna have to bring it yourself. Also, I have a crappy EX2, a custom, and one controller, so bring your own stick/controller.
I will keep checking around for a public place, but I think this will work for now. I figure it will be cool for those of us that can’t make it out to Baltimore, and Silver Spring (Wheaton really, but it’s the same thing) is pretty centrally located. Any interest? Ideas?
Depending on how much work I have(finals starting up etc) I’ll try to be there. I have no problem with having gatherings just at someone’s house, just as long as everyone’s respectful to the home. If I can clear up my schedule, I’m interested in that Raven.
LoL, damn it, all you guys do is make me wish I live back in MD (somewhat). It seems that’s where all the local ‘weekly’ events happen. VA seems to only be ‘special’ events and such…
