WTF!!! Who did she attack? All she did was ask a question. i saw your response and you were directing it towards her because you thought she was talkin shit. she wasn’t in the wrong. How come several others on here knew that she was asking a question? You’re obviously one of the few that didn’t understand. You can go around and spit on people all you want HVS, I am not your friend so I wouldn’t find a rational way of defending you.
Children,Children, Children… please calm down it’s not worth all this shit talk the argument is over i mean none of u can either play each other in games cus play different games…So what i will do to stop this bickering I will play u both in A3 and CVS2 the one who wins the most is the winner of the arguement…and sinc u guys won’t win then u should all just drop it and shake hands…Its just a opinion and it’s just a game shake hands and make up you uys are all acting like your in the 1st grade…

I’m saying I tried to drop it but someone likes to keep it going not to say any names I said my apology so let that be that take it or leave it.
But anyway I agree with u B but not wit playing u part i just think it’s over it was a question a simple freaking question. Some people just don’t know when to say when damn. Leave it alone the horse is dead already. SHIT
So anyway who is goning to the tourney on Sat.? NOTE that is a queston for those who don’t no. LOL
I have to say more than anything I ever find on srk.com I always find something to entertain me more than anything else. Being totally I want nothing to do with the Ronin HVS argument or whatever…I just want to talk about this “top tier” issue…As anyone has seen I dont “really” use top tiers…(which to some is comically aruguable) but in my humble opinion I dont…If anything I attempt to play my own way and fabricate my own playing style which in older games and the beginning of CVS2(my Vice kicked hella ass for a while ^_^) paid of quite well (Top 30 CVS1 B5 godammit!) But anyhoo, its fun to have your “signature” characters and to be able to be confident to use your own practical tactics, but with anything comes an evolution or moreless a growth in the progression of competitive play.
Take for instance MVC2, though arguably not proper SF, MVC2 is VERY deep and intricate game within the VS series and has undergone MANY revelation. Its almost hard to believe that when this game first came out that Akuma, Guile, and Juggernaut were top tier and won tournaments!!! But as time went on the strategies which worked in the past stopped working due to new characters being discovered. For a long period of time Blackheat/Doom/Cable was the shit…then Magnus showed up. Now Storm has risen to the top of the list along with Sentinel. With any game theres always something that is well the “best” way or strategy to compete with. Thats with any game.
IMO, CVS2 is a “game” to say the least. Its played the way its played. I have my own problems with top tiers but if anything its a disagreement thats only my own and often can take you away from the reason ppl play tournaments to win. As EE stated no one enters a tourny to with a sole purpose to lose. Even I have to realize that. I always would find my signature characters and play them because 1) IMO, they were fun to use 2) I coudl play with them well. And if anything, it always felt good to hear someone acknowledge my individuality (though I have to give respect to Ric for inspiration of using Kyo in cvs2…I did use him in cvs1 for a bit…)) but all in all, these things were out of my own interpretation of the game not the game itself. CVS2 is EXTREMELY straight forward in its premise of what works and what doesnt…or at least the majority thereof. There is only a small component of grey matter to what works and what doesnt work in CVS2…but for the most part its very clear.
Blanka/Sagat/Cammy/Ryu(though very aruable)/Vega/Bison are very good characters though IMO thats an understatement(usually better suited with C or N grooves, though A can be beneficial to a few of them). The whole point is that…when it really comes to a competitive environment for the most part a “gun” will be preferred over a “knife” so to speak. As much as it hurts me to even say it its very very true. I myself wanted A groove to dominate…sad to say it just doesnt.(in japan it contends a little more than in the US) it wins but its not as dominannt as it predecessor in the Zero series. You play tournaments to win and if whats “winning” material is put in front of you then at some point you WILL either go to it or not play…having fun and winning conincide with each other very well.
IMO I dont like CVS as much as I used to, I’m merely putting what its true in text. Tiers affect every game, no matter how much “better” it may be than the other (Alpha2 v Alpha 3). Using whats the better of the evils will technically get you much farther than the opposite (Low Roundhouse CC’s Alpha 2…who didnt use them?)
If you choose to explore in an attempt to discover things which beat them and are sucessful, you will be respected. If you choose to use whats available thats been logically proven then you will win until the next development occurs…
