Anyway whazzup yall, I play no top-tier characters at all…err well if you want to call Ryu top-tier ever since those Onuki videos, but everyone who knows me, knows that I’ve played Ryu since Street Fighter 2 World Warrior.
Sagat is the only person that stands in my way and he is slowly getting his ass handed to him every time.
Anyway I can’t wait till the next tourney. I’m playing 3s

lol i think he meant he plays mid/low tier characters (which is true) just not in a tournament. in a tourny , the business characters come out
if a top tier is bothering you, you can still try to counter rather than go top yourself. some mid characters counter top, for example i think chun-li is good vs sagat. a good ken should be able to hold his own against anyone. and so on.
And, well, against any player, no matter their character, there are mind games you can put on them. So, Tommykid has taken out mad sagats with N Ryu. Arturo comes down with no top tiers and woops everyone, every time. If he can do that then obviously it’s not the characters that win, it’s skills first. so umm lets all just play whoever and have fun. lates

Heh, i never said sagat/blanka/bison are not top tier. cuz they are, i play them because of that. look, i am playing to win, i am not here to handicap myself to please anyone. I have nothing to prove to you nor anyone here, so dont “double dogg dare” me or anything cuz i left high school 2 years ago. as far as me playing eric, lets keep that out of it cuz we had history in past games and being truthfully we are both skilled but i bet no one else would know me in a3 but him. and anyone who played me in a3 knows i played that game with random characters from low to top tier and always played good. anways. like i said. i have nothing to prove.
and the england comment was reffering to tournaments in general. i think we can both agree no one joins a tournament to lose.
anyways, i had enough of this online thing. i thought i would put in my 2 cents and i feel like im about to get flammed for nothing. heh, now i remember why i stayed away.
I first started this arguement to see everyones response to top teir clones and wot they thought of them. I wanted to see everyone response on wot they think aboot top tier.
I am just tired of everyone using the same characters and afraid to take a chance, life is full of chances and I see who r the cowards when I watch some play; turtling and running.
I know you want to win but damn is there “No honor in winning” if the only thing u wanna do is svoid some one and wait it out. Grab the Devil by the Horns and get on wit it. Who wants to live forever if u go though life taking the safe route . Live life to the fullest even if u don’t always win.

I must agree with Hyper, alot of times it seems that people would have you handicap yourself so that they ca think a match is competitive when all along if a person has more skill they just have more skill…But to answer your other questions i play the game because i’m a competitve person also it’s fun to frustrate people i mean if your playin someone and they can’t figure out what your doing or how to stop it then it’s pretty fun(Chun li A3)…next i’ve never been one to complain about turtling it’s kinda like complaining about throws why do it it’s just another style of fighting it only makes you look bad…i mean if someone beats you senseless from turtling he would have probally done the same thing if he rushed you down. The reason I use the people i use is simple i’m good with them… my old team Sagat/hiiki/chun won so will my new teams i mean if no one played top tier SAGAT/BLANKA/BISON/VEGA then all you would have to complain about is cammy,hibiki,iori,chun,honda…simple solution just figure out how to fight top tiers everyone has a mismatch figure it out i did and do very well without a top tier character. Beating players that get direct mismatches against my characters on high skill levels .
So in closing learn how to get around it or say nothing Eric lee is part of your click he doesn’t use top tiers but he does well…take some lessons from him.

whats up everyone. long time no see.
Well TheDarqueOne figured hed come here and let everyone know whats up. Been goin to arcades more. Saw Syber’s infamous Nightwolf in action on UMK3. FINALLY met Foomy up at GBM’s Cyberstation. I see Smitty and HVS all the time so thats nothing big. Right now Im waiting for Soul Caliber 2 to be released so I can get an early start on that. For now as far as fighting games Im playing Tekken 4(I know.its dead), Soul Caliber(The Legend Will Never DIE.), Marvel VS Capcom 2 (Not religiously. Only when theres alot of people at the machine or when someone tells me that the guys at the machine are the best.). Other than that Im playing DDR and PPD. Well thats enough for now I think.
What up everyone?! I’m gone for like 3 days and eveyone in here has changed. Ronin is a postin too much in here for some reason and the top tier topic went in and out. And joe, you don’t play DDR so edit that and and change it. Try being cool rather than acting like you’re cool.

WHY DO FOLKS PLAY TOP TIER
there followers…no ones a leader. They see someone using bison or sagat (parables, jus parables) an see how easy it is to win they go us them, yet craft there sagat to there liking.

I wuz the first to bring a vicious Maki to gametime…now all of a sudden i see cats tryin to use her…come on. Same thing at Bootleg Beltway. I started cats using Athena, Vega, and Maki. No one seems to wanna be an outkast. My boy drew AINT NEVER USED ROLENTO. Two trips down to gametime an he comes back using him…sorry dawg…following.
But yet they may just like the character to show the other side of the arguement, but thats kinda odd in a slight sence:
