Yeah, I still need to get a car so I don’t have to bum rides all the time. Saves money but…I feel bad about bumming rides from the same people who happen to volunteer at tourneys. If more people drived it wouldn’t be so bad.

Is 3rd strike the only game being plaeyd nowadays? At springfield mall, that is the only game there, no marvel or cvs. I see eric kim, estuardo sometimes, darrick perez and shinshay every now and again. If people still play marvel and cvs or st where do they play? Doesnt mike creque live in nova now? perhaps he has a cabinet still, I saw rugal b at a tekken tournament and even saw wayne from md come a few months ago to springfield. masaka where are u? Where is chris li? where have the gamers gone?? playing at houses in md? if so let us kno yo and running into kikin was rather random also
3rd Strike is the only game that exists now. Everything else is your imagination. I like ST too but that game isn’t at the arcades unfortunately. There’s actually quite a few games that I like that aren’t at the arcade.
Look at Evo…people show up in big numbers for 3S. The other games still get turnouts here and there but unless it’s a regional event…3S will usually have the most people playing it. It’s the one game right now where newer people are actually getting into it. Slash would be the same if it actually had a US release.

Yeah, well, I mean we’re from the same area after all, and I’ve met him and chatted with him a couple times. Been interviewed on one of the ranbats, and on another ranbat I made it to the video rounds and he commentated on my matches against Pyro and this Akuma player named Brandon. Actually just this weekend, when I was home for Thanksgiving, there was a 5v5 team tourney at FFA, and my team went up against John’s in winner’s (we lost) and then in loser’s finals (they were sent to loser’s by Pyro’s team, Amir beat Pyro but Ken I was on Pyro’s team and went next and peaced out Amir, John, and Gootecks, everyone was going crazy; basically all the good players were on those two teams hehe). So I mean, we know each other in the hey-I-see-you-at-the-arcade-occasionally kind of way.
PS I sent in a question that made it to the 2nd part of episode 5, tried to make it funny but it didn’t go over very well hehe. There’s a bit of intercity rivalry there between my hometown and the place they thought I was from, and Arlieth, Frankie, Vic, and a few other guys are from there, so I don’t think he took kindly to me ripping on it.
