You know what’s sad??? I’ve been on this site FIVE FUCKING years… April 2001. And DJ has posted more in 2 months than what i’ve done in five years.
Although… I’m not sure if post count is saved from before the great crash. Even though my post count says 13 hundred something… I can’t search further back than 500 or so.
That being said.
Old school tourney will be in December 12/16. That way, Nov will be practice for NEC. Most of these games will be on permanent casual for the next two tourneys.
The lineup (guarunteed)
-SF3: 2I (DC)
-Alpha 2 (PS2)
-CvS1 (DC, hopefully I’ll have the save file by November)
-XvSF (?? either xbox emu/saturn/supergun)
-SF2: HF (PS2, via Capcom Classics V1)
-TTT (PS2)
-SC1 (DC)
Other nominations:
Vampire Saviour (PS2)
UMK3 (with this be out on the new MK?)
TMNT: TF (SNES)
(any other series i’m neglecting?)
Anyway, I’ll advertise this way early, maybe sometime this week.
There is a 100% chance I’ll enter vampire, I just hope you don’t hold the tournment on a time that will conflict with the holiday season as I might not be in nova for it.
Actually, I remember that one of the KI’s was actually almost tourney worthy.
It was the one without those critical supers.
IIRC the reason the one with the critical supers was too broken was because Jago’s critical super was just too retarded broken that there was no point playing anyone but him and completely relying on spamming the crit super.
So uhh… I don’t remember which is which, been too long, but the one without those is supposed to be a decent game.
Yeah…I loved KI 1 and 2. Killer Instinct was probably the one game that made me wish I had a Super Nintendo as opposed to a Sega Genesis. Other than that I always did like my Genesis. 6 button SF controller ftw. I never did get to play KI2 much but it was probably the best damned looking 2d fighter at the time. KI Gold wasn’t well received for whatever reason though. (I guess cuz people found out it was broke).
Oh shit! Mr. Johnny Rainbow strikes again with the old school. No matter what happens, no one can touch the Sharpshooter. The Best there is, the Best there was, the best there ever will be.
