I think the teams should be based on the characters played and grooves and stuff for cvs2 and sf3 for marvel and ggxx i don’t fucking know.Choosing from the top 5 at past C3 is bullshit cuz not everyone played their best. I know that cuz i couldn’t super or tackle or do shit i wanted cuz i played on xbx crap and the game felt soo slow.10x missed tons of shit in his team and single matches same goes for Epsilon missing links and supers, same for ciddy and shinshay…So based on this c3 making a team should be voted in NC based on the players we have…So if we have a Q and there is like ken and chuns and shit is would be retarted to put him there unless is like Ultra D level since he knows the damn match up.
So what’s the deal with this NC tournament? Who’s driving down, and when? Gonna get a hotel room, or just drive down and back in one day? And so forth.
I should be free all Sunday and Monday. Only good controller I have is for PS2 and computer, tho.

From when I talked with Renegade on C3…it sounds like we’re gonna be riding Mexican style in the C3 van down there. Driving out Friday night and finding a hotel 3 hours down for the first night…and then in the morning drive the remaining 3 hours to get to the tournament. We’ll probably be there for the day and then maybe drive back late night to the hotel back up towards VA or just man up the whole 6 hours back to where we need to be.
I personally think people should be more concerned about getting ready for NEC since it’s a major instead of the NC tourney, but that’s just me.

We have yet to iron out a real ride situation from Nova to richmond.
a) My proposal was for MD/NOVA to drive to richmond, crash here, then drive to Durham (3 hours) the following day.
b) Staying in Durham on Sat is a possibility, but those tourneys end much sooner than c3 ones, so we’ve driven back to richmond several times. Also, if we stay in richmond fri an durham sat, that’s a whole weekend.
c) If we do drive: All I’ve heard is that Jose will be driving a car. The only other drivers I know of are him and Ramza. If you guys just wanna skip the van thing, we can drive 3 cars down caravan style. Jo and Ramza’s, and maybe Hav will take me, 10x, and moose.
d)if something can be worked out to rent a van from Northern VA/MD to do this thing, that’d be great, if not, it’s all good. -

We can rent 12 passenger vans from Dulles airport from Budget.
Problem is: they are 150$ a day.
So, w/ the rental, you’re not even really saving money over 3 cars.
Pimp this. Van gets 15/19 MPG. 12 heads in the car (including PVP) slows it down, so let’s assume 17 MPG

Now, 5 bucks is negligible. So the 1 day rental is possible. But that means someone in Nova has to have picked that car up and START DRIVING by 7am to arrive at the tourney at 1pm.
Now, the drive is only 4.5 hours, but you gotta plan for stoppage, picking up us in Richmond, etc.
Also, the 1 day rental has to be RETURNED by 8am the next day. Meaning have to drive all the way back to sterling. That sucks.
2 day rental is much more feasible time wise… however, it’s more than double the cost of a car. Unless people want to contribute more or less based on their personal wealth, I don’t see this happening. With this you’re looking at 30 bucks to GET to the tourney and back, at least 30 bucks AT the tourney, and another 20-30 in food. This isn’t including any possible hotel stays.
Anyway… who’s got a decent MPG car? Jo, Ramza, Hav?
