I picked the game up, and honestly I think Im real good for the small amount of time I put in the game. Im sure if I went to a tournament I could break top 5 easy.

Umbc Next Weekend
I am trying to arrange another get-together this coming weekend, it will be either this coming Friday or Sunday in Harbor Hall @ UMBC.
We will pretty much exclusively play 3S, but if 3S is not your main game and you want to come, feel free to bring another game as we will have 2 TVs. Also make sure you bring somebody who plays that other game. I only know 3S people, since thats my only competitive game.
Post a reply on this thread and let me know if Friday or Sunday is better (from like 3-4pm till whenever). You may also hit me up on AIM (sn: AHSGoose) or call my cell (in my IM profile).
I will try to have maybe a few more of these informal gatherings in the following month so good players can practice against good comp for NEC.

So they kinda sorta tried to fix the sticks on the MC-Rockville 3s machine…side 1 is still a little iffy, sometimes the up-diagonals go out ( maybe it’s all the Chun and Akuma whoring going on… )
ok so um what happened to this thread? just checking my subscriptions folder and found this… seeing as how the game with the most tournament turnouts lately has been 3s, i’m thinking of picking up the game seriously instead of just going to these tournaments with my “random” yun. whats good with some gatherings at springfield mall? or how about UMBC? let me know whats good.
I’d totally be up for gatherings at SF. I’m only good for weekends though. I’d like to play more at the arcade against others, besides beating on angry mexican scrubs with j.HP all day.
