Well that’s the difference, more and more exercise for less and less effect. You have to clean up your diet, even pro athletes past 30 generally have to do so, but even then you’ll never be in the same shape as you were in your 20s and be able to process that food the same way. Better to avoid it.
Anyway, there is nothing I can recommend off of McDonald’s menu. It really is awful. The McNuggets are probably the least awful thing there and maybe the sundae, which I don’t really count as much for fast food because that’s a more general thing and not McDonald’s specific.
lol I don’t eat McD every day. Just one meal every other week or so. I’m stating the simple fact that that way too many people are quick to blame fast food restaurants and ‘evil food industry’ when in reality their poor health are direct results of faulty life habits.
Jalapeno Doubles are the shyt.
Wendy’s stopped being good when they stopped using a grill to cook their meat, and started flash cooking it with a press. Meat has to cook in its juices and not be squished paper thin, to keep its flavour.
Late response. I worked at Wendy’s several months before the open grill had been replaced by the press grill, and IMO I found no significant difference between both. Even on an open grill, the workers were told to press the hell out of those patties. OK, that’s an overstatement, but I do remember that the ideal Wendy’s patty on an open grill was practically the same dimensions and taste as on a press grill. The internal temperature from the cooked meat was the same and everything. That being said, I do now have issues with dry jr cheeseburgers ever since the small patties were shrunk from 1/8 lb to 1/8.275 lb, but that didn’t happen till several years after the press grill was introduced.
So what is everybody’s thoughts on sweet potato fries?
Sweet potato fries alone>>>regular fries alone. However, I’m not too fond of sweet potato fries as a side w/ beef, seafood, nor pork. Chicken or bust. (Lamb w/ sweet potato is great, too, but good luck finding a place that makes lamb burgers).
No mention of Five Guys? What da fuck…C’mon man.
Shelling out an extra buck gives you the option to go to Red Robin. Screw Five Guys.

Back when I worked at Wendy’s, a Jalapeno melt cured this wicked flu I had one time. Now every time I get sick, I buy a bunch of spicy shit instead of buying cough syrup and stuff, and it actually seems to help. True story.

I don’t do fast food very often (maybe once a month if that) but I stick to In N Out. Shyt is the bomb. There is a Checkers up the street from where I live but I’ve never eat there before. Any good?
What got me to stop eating McDonalds is homeboy got a McDouble with mayo and onions only. I got my food out the bag, smell almost killed me. Red Robin has god tier fries, the best. IMO, fast food tier list for me
S
In N Out, Red Robin
A
Wendy’s, Braum’s, Jack in the Box
B
Burger King, Freddy’s
Everything else either fails or I haven’t eaten at said restaurant before. Never had Five Guys Burgers and Fries.
The service isn’t what it use to be. I go there once in a blue moon and there seems to be less staff and in return I find myself waiting for my food for 10 mins.
