which is better they are both the same price on amazon i was told the v2 was the best of the mayflash sticks has anyone here used both that could easily compare differences?
V2 was the first Mayflash stick to accept Arcade quality parts.b The F300 seems to be a newer variant of the V2.
The difference is the V2 is a Xbox 360/ and PS3 stick
While the F300 is for PS4, PS3, XBOX ONE, XBOX360,PC and Android
The F300 needs a official controller to be plugged into it for authentication
Depending on what systems you want to use, you may as well gut the PCB anyways and install your own
There’s also the F500 that you could get. Its basically the V2 but with same functions as the F300.

i plan to just use it on pc .the mayflash 500 is 89 us i might as well put in 50 more bucks and get a amazing stick for that, its 30 dollars more for the 500 than the v2, and 300. so it seems the v2 is the way to go. i plan to mod it eventually. i hear the buttons are easy just unplug them from the wires and stick the new buttons in. and hook them up to the wires the stick is suppose to be a bit harder though.
Case wise (and since you’re gonna mod it anyway) the V2 is superior to the F300 for its metal panel and cable storage. The F300 top panel is just plastic like on some cheap low grade sticks from ebay and there’s no way to store the cable away.
tbh i prefer the v2 due to its size of 6.5 pounds to f300 4 pounds i like bigger sticks cause they dont slide around i plan to play on it for few months then ill change the buttons and stick
Like most people are saying, I’d go with the V2 and down the line if needed you can gut the PCB, buttons and joystick if you’re slowly going to modify it. Overall it’s a better case.
Out of the box it will work perfectly fine on PC.
i saw a button mod they just took out buttons and put in the new ones with no pcb modding or anything and got some wire called female 5 something lol
