May be the wrong place, but question about using strategies

Alright, so I’ve been working on my Capcom Vs SNK 2 faq for the past year and a half, and got it up on Gamefaqs. Now…my question is, if I wanted to use someone’s strategies unchanged or slightly changed (such as Mr. Sparkle’s strategies on Vice), and if that user is no longer here, is it right to still use the data as long as I credit that person in the Credits portion of my faq? Or should I try to get a hold of that person or what? I appreciate any answers that anyone can give me on this…

Also, I guess I can ask this here since I’m at it…if anyone can, I would like to get some reviews about my faq and what needs to be done (aside from the obvious stuff that’s not there yet. It’s still a WIP at the moment, but I’m working on it slowly but surely. ^^;;). Link to faq is here for those who would like to give me feedback on it:

I think he’s asking why did you make another faq even if u have a lot of time on your hands. Wouldn’t it be better to just practice O_o? On the other hand, no harm done and more power to you.

Well, I originally wanted to do this 2 years ago when I actually STARTED it (lol…), but I thought one big faq would be useful to anyone who needs it (I could’ve practiced myself, but considering that nobody plays in my area, and the closest to where I can play people is 50 miles away and no way of getting there…yeeeeah…though I could…<_<).

And trust me…I have A LOT of time on my hands…>_>;;;
