IRL tournaments are long, grueling affairs just for the people playing in them. If she isn’t into Street Fighter or doesn’t have a hobby that involves hamburgers, she’ll get bored quick.
I highly recommend getting there an hour early (at least?). I walked into the last one maybe 30 minutes before things started and IV signups were cap’d and locked. If I was there to play I would have been pretty disappointed (not at the people running it, just that I would have missed my chance to get into the brackets).
Do both your girl and yourself a favor and don’t bring her. She will be bored out of her mind and then be unpleasent to be around. At least everyone I have ever been with is like that. Leave early, we have a three hour plus drive and you never know about traffic.
