If we are gonna play Mario Kart it should be the Wii version. Best control scheme, easy to set and change rules before a race and its easiest to keep score on cuz it does it for you. Plus the most levels, characters and vehicles.
I would be down for pod racer tho. Either that or Mario Kart Wii.
I would suggest a Cory in the House side tournament, but Columbus doesn’t play and wouldn’t be very fair. So i guess we will keep our CitH tournaments in the IHop parking lot at 3am after every ranbat and Thursday night
Virtua Fighter 5 probably won’t be out for console by June 9 th so how about Skullgirls instead? I heard that it’ll be out during April so we should have a lot of time to get accumulated with the game.
Um, I was thinking Road Rash would be a good racing game. I don’t know which one, but it’s like a fighting game on motorcycles, so I think it would be a good fit, long as people don’t take it too seriously and get all salty when they get spoked at the end of the race or something.
Road Rash would be fine, people were eating chain in that long before UMvC3. You’d probably have to stick with the shortest tracks though, races can be long.
I’ll be eating some this time! …as long as there are no more disasters to take me away from things!
I’ll also have my laptop on hand for playing some Melty Blood. The screen is kind of small. I’m working on alternatives for external monitors before PowerUp.
Great matches across the board in KoF, ping pong, and Windjammers. The competition level for KoF is really solid right now and it’s a great time for the game in Ohio with B.A.L.A here too. Look forward to the next one!
In case you forgot, ranbats this Saturday! I changed the side game for the following ranbat to SKULLGIRLS and pushed the Mystery Game to the final week.
Good games to everyone in SC5, VS, & Windjammers yesterday. Looking forward to Jesse updating the results & points to see where everyone is in the standings for all the games.
