Not liking SFxT from what I experienced. I would have been fine with it being added as a trial/exhibition game, but not a full replacement for AE2012. I’m pretty certain that as the novelty wears off, you’ll start agreeing again.
I have switched KOF and SFxT time slots. Definitely takes a while seeing as everyone is new to the game except Hornett.

Since we are running SFxT every week, we need a side game for next week. I’m really feeling a Breakers Revenge tourney. If you have a suggestion, post it up. Also, I added a Mystery Game tournament as the side for week 4.
I would really like to see a Mario Kart side tournament. Everyone runs the same track exactly once. If we do SNES 2 people play at a time, otherwise 4 people play at a time. We could also do teams in Double Dash (but I don’t like that game as much). Pick a track in advance so we have time to prep. There’s also the possibility of doing a best lap award of some sort.
If we ever get better internet, it is also possible to do 10 players at once on Wii, but it’s online only (no lan, unless someone has a hack I don’t know about). Getting that many players together in the same room racing on the same track would be really fun!
I would actually be interested in doing pretty much any racing game. I don’t know how many others would be interested in this though.
Going to the ranbats yesterday was hella awesome. I had a great time chilling with everyone & getting in some great games with everyone. :tup:
Good games to Thomas, Kevin, Kris, & Rob in Soul Calibur 5 yesterday. I love that Soul Calibur 5 is getting a lot of love since it’s a really awesome & fun game. On top of that, everyone was playing some damn good games in SC5 yesterday. It was some damn tough competition going on, so that’s hella awesome. Good stuff everyone. :tup:

I usually don’t go to ranbats hardly often due to my work schedule…let alone get to stay there, chill, & play games with everyone there the whole entire time, so that was insanely awesome. Thanks once again to Jesse & everyone else helping run the ranbat making this event great & a lot of fun. If my work schedule permits me to do so, I’ll try to go to these more often. :tup:
I’m all behind getting SFxT out of the way early. KOF does take long to run but it doesn’t pull the crowds that SFxT has.
Oh and because it needs to be said CROSSSS ASSSAULTTT.
Also if it’s out by then I would recommend a Virtua Fighter 5: Final Showdown tournament in June.

I will do AE at the next ranbat then. Matt, you can continue to do GG but matches for people in other games have priority. I also would like a Martial Masters tourney and I know a few others who enjoy it as well. I should put it back in the cab for a while. I miss playing that game.

I would enjoy playing a racing game tourney though we’d have to make sure Dandy J doesn’t set the rules again. Whatup infinite Blur tournament. As far as game goes, I figure any arcade style racer would be pretty ok. Just no sim racers since probably no one would play. I like Mario Kart but the items are kind of maddening for playing a tournament. Are there any versions where you can adjust item sets to avoid blue shell madness?

I was going with Mario Kart because its the one everybody knows. SNES doesn’t have blue shells. I played SNES Mario Kart most recently. I forgot how ridiculous items got after that. I think you can turn off items or something in the Wii version, but I would have to hook up my Wii to check… Thing hasn’t been plugged in since I moved to Cincy.
Actually the racing game I was going to suggest initially was Star Wars Episode 1 Racer (Pod Racer to most people), but I didn’t know if anyone would go for it so I switched the post to Mario Kart.
