Rules:
Each round will be 2 out of 3 matches.
There will be a losers bracket
Finals for winners and losers bracket will be first to 3 matches
Grand Finals will be first to 3 matches,
Winner of loser finals must win 2 sets of 3 in grand finals
Only able to switch characters if you lost the previous round
Bring your own controller or stick (XB360 controllers will be provided if needed)
Oh boy, the same day as the Greensboro tourney? The Lucky’s Tourney was going to be my first tourney, but man this one is just 15-20 minutes from where I live(Newton). Bah I hate to say this, but I may have to bail out of the Greensboro tourney just because this would be a much shorter drive. I hope the turn out is decent(at least 20+).
Why would you schedule a tournament the same day as Lucky’s? Nobody is going to go to a first-time tournament over Lucky’s. You would be SOOO much better to delay this a week.
Hey, bthai reschedule this tournament. Everybody in NC is hitting up Lucky’s that same day. It’s a monthly tournament so it’s attendance is pretty much set in stone.
We’d love to come out another time, but Lucky’s tournaments are huge in NC. And besides, your tournament is being played on 360.
Yes, please do what they say. Delay it by at least one week, I’d love to attend both. Lucky’s has the best that NC has to offer, but I’d still like to come to yours and see some local guys in action.
Being completely serious here… I DEFINITELY try to make all the tournaments I can like Saisyus in Durham or Lucky’s in Greensboro but this being on the same day as Luckys it’s kind of…like I wish I could be at both but i’m gonna have to choose Lucky’s since I had already planned to be going to Greensboro on that date.
It’s 3 hours away but seems easy enough to get too… I-40 is a godsend, just go on I-40 W for the entire time then take the exit to hickory and i’m there. I’m definitely interested if you change the date then and all works for me.
Damn, I just realized that I’m suppose to go to Carowinds on May 15th with some friends and family. I’ve been hoping for a local tourney close to my house and when it finally happens, I already made plans. How is my luck this bad
Maybe I can get out of this planned trip, but if not then I hope the turnout is good so that another one will be held during Summer which I would definitely attend. Good luck to all who attend.

Well I really hope this event meet or exceeds expectations. I’d love to have a tournament that I can attend so close to my home. Maybe this will bring out some of the local guys that didn’t want to drive all the way to Greensboro/Durham or just attract new players who may be starting late or with Super.
also you and anyone else local should come down to Gamestop beside Target and Best Buy and pre-order it since me and the other guy that is running this works there
Ok, I’m skipping Carowinds and will come. I’m hoping the turnout will be decent, at least 15 people for example, but more would be even better. Gotta support the local scene if I want to it to survive so at the very least, I can say I did my part.
