There’s a key in your keyboard called “End” which get u to the end of the page, also “Page down/up.” Learn how to use it.
A compromise between 20 and 100 is 60, not 40.
Page load time/size between 20 and 100 posts/page is negligible. And I guarantee you, loading 20 posts/pg three times will be at least 50x less efficient than loading 60 posts/pg one time. Many of us would not think 60 is too long.
I still wish someone could hack the xenforo to 50 for symmetry.
Yep, some of us (mods especially) are on the site several times a day. I have been hitting page down/end like a mofo. I’ve also been using forum software since the 90’s and have never had it ungodly long like you guys prefer. The worst posts are the picture threads like ‘post your arcade stick.’ It’s a mess to view that with 50 sets of pictures.
This one is borderline religious. I think the long threads are retarded and you guys think the same about the inverse. There’s not an easy compromise when it’s a common setting.
It’s like signatures in images. Some people like them. I think its abomination. We’re not likely to come to an agreement.
The happy medium would be if Jaxel could hack it back in to be user configurable.
