Well, that completely changes it. Although, kof would give that impression at casual level. Can’t imagine the amount of fans that now think of kof of a cheap rip off SF now though. The terrible terrible things this man can do…
It still makes the comparison wrong. Being the same type of fighter doesn’t make them comparable. It’s like saying Marvel and KoF are similar because both are 3-on-3.
To be fair to Xrd, it doesn’t really play a lot like Ultimax. Hell, it doesn’t even really play like Blazblue, which people are probably going to compare it to.
Maximillian and the great Cammmy, Nash, and Ken debacle. Do you guys know how many niggas echod the statement “this character is ass/not fun” like that shit was fact up until release(even after)? We’re talking the same people who thought beta 2 Nash was the worst and all he did was supplement the idea while @VesperArcade later had to correct himself because he was hella wrong too. But at least he corrected himself.
I like Max, specially for one thing: When he loses (and I don’t know why, but I love to watch him get bodied) the first thing he says is “I’m learning”. That doesn’t mean that’s the first thing he thinks, but it’s a possitive approach.
When I want a pro discussion about games, I watch Momochoco or someone like that. That’s it. Max is just plain entertaining, and it’s good. He’s always exagerating, but the message of his videos are “this is so much fun”. And that is what brings people into the FGC.
PS: Fanboys will always be fanboys, doesn’t matter if they’re Max fanboys, Trump fanboys, Stoya fanboys or Teletubbies fanboys. They have the power to take something you like and make you despise it.
