Honda is not Low-Tier…
Certainly aren’t special for getting away with playing mid-tier like ass.
Why so Salty?
Thats what im tryin to figure out Kros. I never said I was special by the way. But keep up the disrespect.
By the end of this all, there will be a lot of Sith warriors…and, like, NO Jedi.
No sith. Just a grown ass man being tried about some non grown man shit. But I still retain the Force of the Jedi. But sometimes you gotta get dark to make a point. You’ll see.
Honda is high tier as fuck now. Not top but anyone who can damage and mix up like Honda without an Ultra…ur basically a character half of other roster wishes they were. Honda’s only bad matchup is against Sagat as well in some ways with real strong play he’s basically a weak Sagat as far as fundamental use in a tournament situation. No matchup other than Sagat himself is downhill.
Guile gives him a hard time as well, though getting in on Guile is far less hazardous than getting in on Sagat.
Whats up DevilJin. I used to play you in third strike on live back in the days. My name was RawPower84 back then. I mained akuma. In retrospect I was a horrible thirdstrike player, but your Ibuki was golden. Interesting perspective on honda. I never thought he was low tier,. solid mid in my opinion. Powerful in the right hands, but ONLY in the right hands. I think whats happening here is that the suposed “alpha” (top) players in the gamepad community feel like their territory is being encroached upon. Only problem is that they are issuing disrespect out of insecurity , forgetting that they have to deal withme in person. This conversation has gone past street fighter. I WILL see them again, and if the disrespect continues, I WILL and I repeat WILL tax that ass. You can bet ya bottom dollar on that. We’re all men in here. Act like one, or suffer the repercussions.
You in the clear Matty P. And I love your Sagat. Far from cheesy. I barely scraped out in our last bout. I look forward to wrecking with you again.
I meant no disrespect by the way. I stand behind my boys. Matty is my boy and I feel as though he shouldn’t lose to you.
Your body language and demeanor presented itself as if you were feelin yourself alittle too much.
Personally I just want to see matty win because when I see a match of Humble v. Modesty (per say) I go for the underdog.
I Never want to come off as cocky or concieted, but you’re not good.
I start off with the utmost for any player that I come across, but the moment I heard Eric tell me something mid-match and you had the nerve to talk shit, told me enough about you.
I don’t respect that sorry.
Obviously my feelings toward anyone in regards to a video game aren’t personal, because they are just that, in regards to a video game.
I will not disrespect or come out my mouth with you in anything but street fighter because that’s taking it personally.
but in the video game world, you’re ass. And I will come down there and Money Match you Anytime and take your money.
I’m not handling this is any other manner but me Just displaying my personal opinion
You don’t know me enough to take one thing I say as ENOUGH to know about me. I talk shit in jest to the people I play, but I never throw salt in the wound. My body language is indicative of me as an individual. It has nothing to do with street fighter. You simply feel as though I have no reason to feel that way. I never said I was that good. You took it as that because I have the W’s and the revenue that would to anyone looking on say so. And you are definitely one to talk about body language. With exception of your interaction with Corrosive, you have a very snooty attitude about you. You barely wanted to shake my fucking hand when I bested you a month ago. I read people well. Its what I do for a living. I never claimed I was better. You assume I felt that way because I bested you. Don’t smile at me when I see you. You shake my hand and beat me like a fucking man nothing else. If I get the inclination, that you’re slighting me, I’m slapping the FUCK outta you. Take it how you want it. You’re a bitch and you just showed your fucking hand. Apologize or pay. Thats your only fucking option.
And since it is so notable. What did I say? Besides me joking about you having a coach. Tell me what I said. Justify before i see you because Im feel real niggerish at this point. Go ahead and tell me what was offensive enough to warp your perception of me but not serious enogh for you to address on sight. Please tell me.
Sorry to bring this bullshit to your board Matty P. But your boys took me there. They violated and I gotta check’ em.
you win.
iNerd is a better player than me. He can play with more than one character. I cannot beat him. The last time I beat him, it was a fluke. Regardless of the circumstances. He is the far more superior player. I just come by to test my skills out, and I got lucky. He’ll probably beat me this friday. I have no reason to be irrate. In the world of street fighter I am ass and he is top cock.
I am by far not anywhere near “top cock”.
The first impression is always the lasting one. I am not “snooty”(lol) but i notice you like to come out your mouth about shit that leads me to believe how you are.
That coach shit wasn’t cute, and that was my first impression of you. So that’s what stays.
And about that whole, Imma slap you shit.
LOL
What happened to this Grown men shit and stuff. lol If I body you and you can’t handle shit talk you’re gonna (attempt) to hit me??
LMFAO. grown man my ass, how old are you?
Hittin kids over a video game…good shit bro.
Try and hit me
c’mon sf4 kids, too much talking and emo bitching, this is pathetic.
Alright, take it easy fellas. There’s no need for all this. If I had known that this would be the outcome of my results post, I would not have put it.
The controller comment I made was not out of disrespect, but just an observation. I don’t blame it on our TVs, because we’ve tested the lower ones MULTIPLE times and there’s never lag. I just find it odd that 3 different players have had the same issue after I play/beat them. Now granted, I do understand that controllers mess up every once in a while, but I also feel like I’m not respected when immediately after my match an opponent says “my controller’s busted.” It’s almost like saying “It wasn’t your skills MattyP that won it, just my controller that lost it.” I’ve spent a lot of time practicing the game (although not nearly enough), and I just want to see it pay off. But to be honest, I try to be humble and understanding, so it’s REALLY not a big deal to me. Again, it was just an observation. I ended up losing in Finals anyways because of MY mistakes. If your controller craps out in the middle of a match, we can reset and test all the buttons. I really don’t care, even if I’m up. It’s a game, and it’s only $10 to enter anyways! But like I said right after the match, I still need a lot of practice, especially against certain character match-ups, and I’ve been in training this week.
I really don’t take disrespect very well, even if it’s not directed towards me. It’s part of my personality, I love people. There’s a fine line between friendly trash-talking and being disrespectful. I’ve had some minor issues with it before at GamePad. I’ve even been disrespectful in my actions at my own tourney, and I immediately apologized. I felt like a fool. But what’s going on in this thread crosses the line. Let it be known that there WILL NOT be any physical altercations here. You will be thrown out, and you won’t be allowed back. I’m not talking to specific people, I’m talking to everyone.
I work at GamePad, and we’re pretty lenient to the SF players about cursing and trash-talking. You have to remember that we’re in a mall with younger kids, and we try to promote a family-friendly environment at GamePad. Those values come before my tournaments, keep it that way.
Now, certain players are better than others. Obviously. Sometimes it’s a matter of practice, sometimes ability to analyze/adapt, or natural talent at playing games, whatever. Now what makes my tournaments different than some others is that I want everyone to get better by continuing to participate. I really enjoy when players go beyond saying “good game” after a match and give some advice to their opponents (who WANT the advice.) Sometimes they don’t want the advice, but want to learn it themselves. But when everyone is improving, it’s great. I’d like to see more of that, and a little less of the competitive edge to avoid things like this coming up. That’s why my tournaments are $10 and not more expensive, and are held every Friday: to appeal to ALL levels of play.
If you guys want to continue on with this bickering, PM, FaceBook, text, I don’t care. But don’t do it here. What I’d really like is for people to bring their pride down a notch and analyze the tournaments, offer advice and keep it positive in my post.
I hope to see you all on Friday in good spirits. (And ready to lose)
Good shit to being the only other black guy there tryna fight… sad.
Anyway you’re right matty, sorry for all this. I don’t have beef with anyone. Its not worth it, and they’re usually not worth it. I smile to much to hate ppl
