Anyways, no tournament today on account of the impending snow apocalypse.
He would always tick with Jab, but there’s a gap there that you can DP if he starts doing it. Backdash works as well. The problem is that there is lag on the TVs you guys play on, so Honda is one of those characters that can take advantage of that kind of environment. Given that you’re going to continue having tournaments in that kind of environment, you’ll need to try to see where you can beat those tactics. Block the jab and reversal after it. I figured him out after two matches, I know the guy is just there to try and scrub out some easy money. Deny him that scrubby shit. See what he does, because he goes into patterns all the time. I was air throwing the shit out of him by the end of our set.

And whats worse is I have nothing negative to say about any of you or your styles of play. I thoroughly enjoy the competition.

Yeah, I’m there for the money, but when you are doing 3/4 screen jump ins for no reason against sagat, you gotta know something isnt clicking right. Every player on the planet has had days when simple shit just wasn’t coming out. And I can tell you weren’t being negative Matty P. I understand where you are coming from. But I expect atleast a base level of respect from these other street fighter enthusiasts out here. ESPECIALLY as a honda player. But i guess thats too much to ask.
Coming from a Cammy player, I can respect anyone who plays someone out of the ordinary (and a charge char no less). If I lose to that or anything else (even the millions of Kens out there) I just have to figure out a way around it.
Fightstick seems to be the way to go as it’s more precise than the pad. Maybe that way I won’t Cannon Spike all over the place, lol.
