As someone who was previously a Balrog main, for me, this matchup is about punishing a lot of the unsafe things that Rog does, then pressuring hard on knockdown, as Balrog, like us, doesn’t have any real good responses on wakeup.
If he does the double stomp, you can punish with light xx light flash chop.
His quick target combo is negative on block.
Beyond that, Balrog’s are going to be doing a decent amount of crouching, so Stomp is a good tool.
