akuma’s focus is so damn annoying.<br>most of the time i jump or sweep when i see his focus, and i get caught a lot.<br>here are a few other things i try against people that spam focus on me.<br><br>denjin will punish him on reaction.<br>if he isn’t deep into his dash on denjin’s ignition, full speed will catch him no matter what.<br>it works that way on everyone’s focus.<br><br>you can get a huge punish on focus spammers by canceling a focused normal into df flip.<br>it’s not as good on akuma since he leaps forward (sometimes you will overshoot) but it’s still a game ender if you catch him with it.<br><br>if he’s close enough, ex tatsu.<br>(ex tatsu everything you can imo - it gets your reactions sharper.)<br><br>df parry’s quick recovery usually gives you enough time to throw someone out of focus, since they are waiting to punish the df kick.<br>you can also df parry into denjin or ex tatsu or even kongo if you want, i guess.<br><br>other than that stuff, wind up focus yourself on reaction and then dash away.<br>

With gouken as always there is not 1 way to skin each cat there’s like 2 or more situational exceptions. The more tools at his disposal the better the gouken can be.
Any gouken closing their minds to any tech unknown previously is limitig their growth bottom line… But I knew u knew that already !!
There’s some shit with Dj lk but the hit stun limits what I can do with it 
I almost alway use it for ambig poke vs srk reversal on wake against a shitload of heads , spacing varies of course … But I knew u knew dat!
Yeah, but against srks i can only seem to link to light attacks so it’s not that good for damage.

After stun, he is at your mercy.</p><p>Oh, btw, if you stun Master Gouki (and have Denjin Hadouken available for use) start up and charge Denjin Hadouken.
