First time i see that in a real match, nice! But to be fair it would’ve not been possible to hit Chun Li any higher or later with the CH that that
Chris King letting Infiltration have it
Cr.HP anti air, E.Ryu cannot jump in at Vega , round 1
So, in this episode, they come across theonly_J, whom I thought had quitted the game or something.
I’ve experienced that before, when they came across Brokken_G.
They have never heard of both of them and started saying “this guy seems good” when starting to fight Brokken_G
So, is being a tournament player means you don’t know a single online famous player? I mean they don’t watch any replays on youtube never?
^ people has their time limit, u should not expect everyone to know every online warrior, especially being hated character like Vega
Me, as an example , i watch utube a lót, but only know around some popular users of Claw, Bison, Ryu. If people ask me about Dan or tHawk players, i swear i know nothing
I noticed in one of the episodes J sent them a message but never seen the match until now.
They played against brokkenG?
Thats news to me. When they played against him?
It was a very early episode, which season I don’t remember.
They either seen Brokken_G in the lobby while searching for people, and not knowing him, they moved on. And in some episode they fought our Meteo and lost.
Or [change Meteo and Brokken_G’s place in the previous sentence] happened.
Unfortunately I can’t be sure which version happened as I watched it last year or even year before it.
Yeah, it was the first scenario. Sorry, they only saw BrokkenG in the lobby and just didnt know him and moved on. I don’t know which episode.
But here is the Meteo fight. At 18:30
Midnight creativity:
Its not exactly hard to pull this off. The hardest part is nail the CH after the whiffed clLK.
Pretty much useless, but I am sharing it because its a funny one.
EDIT: Yeah, finally I got what I wanted.
This setup is actually really easy to pull off as everything is done with the help of the buffer and thus pretty much everything is error proof.
The only trick is that you have to input the CH with db.HK before you land with the jiHK on the ground as the side switch “bugs” the inputs.
It still is not that much practical, but its more decent.
yeah I noticed this when I was exploring the crossup CH issue myself. The cool thing is that you don’t have to change direction to charge up for EX FBA or ST. Although I was doing it with sweep KDs since Izuna and air throw were just taking too long.
Oh, yeah.
You can enjoy that feature to make CH into Ultra way more easily.
Here its not a good example of it because it will never land, its just for scientific purposes.
But here is a nice one if they already know that you are going for the crossup CH.
But its also gimmicky, as the solution for it is to not tech the soft knockdown.
ah yes, i’ve noticed that bug when i was trying to understand what makoto was practicing in that combo video he made. i was practicing the st, jump, empty air grab crossup to df+hk. could only land it 1 out of 10 times. really hard to time, need to whiff that air grab at the perfect time.
Does this only work on Chun or is it different timings for each character?
The crossup CH only works on:
Standing or crouching Chun.
Crouching Gouki.
Standing Dhalsim.
The Cosmic Heel with db.HK works on everyone.
Played a FT7 against Overmostheads online, who just came from a 3rd place at hypespotting last week, giving a great show.
Everybody said i didnt have a chance, so i was burning to prove them wrong even if it is only online.
Commentating is done by a scottish guy and an italian guy, dont know how that would sound for a native english speaker.

Enjoy if you want to watch
i’m surprised omh doesn’t know how to punish whiff wall dives. surely anti air ultra or ex slash can punish it. if only he rushed down from the start. at the very last game, when you jumped out of his grab, you could of jump back hp and finished him off! oh well, still nice anyway.
Good showing man. You were really solid and stayed in control for the whole set.
From omh’s part some kara demons were nice but apart from that he was struggling a lot in the neutral game (didn’t use st.lk a lot for some reason) and rarely managed to apply real pressure.
