Money match between Latif and Zeus

So, I need a favor from whoever possible.
There is this CC match in which Jozhear puts his best performance against JWong. But its in a 8 hour video: http://sv.twitch.tv/canadacup/b/299277001 The match starts at 1:51:27
And people who have put CC matches on Youtube didn’t put this one.
Is there any technology that I’m not aware of that lets you download only that part of the video? Cause I cannot download a 8 hour video but I love that match there
any video editing software should enable you to cut out the video before and after the specific segment you want
But those softwares do that if the video is on your computer, downloaded. I need one that does download only the specific part.
If you’ve got firefox and download helper, you can download only the video part linked. But you need to have the time stamp into the link.
For example, if you’ve got a link that goes at 10:23 in a youtube vid, your software will only dl from 10:23, as the streaming starts from there. You can check this feature by starting a video embedded into a forum, then clicking on the youtube logo in the middle of the vid.
And as most dl softwares work as if you were watching the stream, they will start from the beginning unless the timestamp is linked. =)
Dunno if the timestamp technique works with others broadcasters than youtube, though. You could always try setting an embedded video at your timing, then going into the broadcaster mirror to check out.
Keep in mind streamed videos are not made to be downloaded.=)
Worked thx! That first match was awful indeed as if he played with only one hand.
Also, man you are critical about the performance of recent generation claws. True, the great makoto is unmatched but the game also evolved. Non FDAC reversals are a thread again and crouch tech is almost useless now. I think the flow of the game changed overall. Not for the better for character without reversals.
Very impressive! I guess that tourney was not in germany was it? And if it was, certainly in the NRW area?
Ah I think vlc can record video. Fraps may work as that’s what I used to record my play of final fantasy 11 back UN three day. Other than that ask Nemesys from uyg or Saki from kara storm. They may know of newer programs

I still have favorites among the newer generation Claws.
I like seeing Claw win, but I somehow shake my head at some of the damage potential that is lost at some instances. You learned to play the character fairly quickly, bravo, your fundamentals are top notch, but dear god, why do I get the feeling you were too lazy to read in-depth stuff?
In fairness maximizing damage is HARD. I try to practice being ready to confirm off of jump ins either EX RCF combo or a blockstring if they block, but it ain’t easy. Sometimes you give up the 100 damage on the EX RCF combo by just going with the bread and butter c. mk.
That’s not necessarily a bad thing, as c. mk, c. mp xx ex fba does good damage, but not as much as EX RCF combos, and when you’re finding yourself doing c. mk after EVERY jump in you do, then you know you’ve run into a problem.
EDIT: Same principle applies to Cosmic Heel, U2. It’s easier in situations, now, for me to react to the move before i hit them and move from there. For instance, if Ryu whiffs a sweep I know my jump in is going to connect sooner than if they do the wrong anti-air, same as if I see a DP as I’m cosmic heeling I know an ultra can be ready, as opposed to a well-spaced CH or some random additional height off of something you interrupt.
However getting in that mindset and making sure you’re reacting beat by beat gives you a lot of mileage with your overall gameplay.
First of all, I hate fawning, but you’re an exception to that anyways. You’re no NG Claw, Joz, and everyone knows that.
The problem is, in addition to not resorting to cl.HP or df.HK punishes where they’re necessary in the first place, I also see a lot of impossible drops on easy combos or setups for good pressure. Missed Cr.mk, cr.MP, missed additional combo after EX roll, missed oki, wasted guaranteed jumpins by following up with cl.LK, not mixing up/pressuring when you’re in the position to do so etc. I don’t mind anyone playing the way he does and I certainly give kudos to those guys beating top players, but the whole style just conveys a non-technical and sloppy/primitive impression that I simply do not like.
Ohhh, ok. Hadn’t really read the posts before honestly.
yeah i think it’s obvious zeus and i approach the character differently. i think he plays more read-based whereas i am more technical.
No Claw is the same.

Amazing Claw and an excellent use of RCF.
I almost NEVER use FADC’s with Claw. I could see it having a purpose though. He’s solid.
I can never connect anything after a FADC. As it is not the bane of Vega’s gameplay, my FADC skill sucks. What’s your frame adv. with the fastest FADC after a roll anyway?
You’re obviously shitting me. How is he only “solid”? This guy is pretty good! He’s making V-Ryu look average, lol.
I don’t like the way he misses links on FADC-combos that cost him two bars; it’s kinda a waste. But very good execution nonetheless and exceptional, intelligent pressure. Watch how carefully he leaves holes for OS LK punishes; he’s also really got this OS baiting “twitch” down. Very good spacing and poking, too.
Another match of the same guy, this time against Gagapa’s Bison.
I think he really overdoes the RCF. He is punished hard for most.

And another one. No rcf this time.
