Abel’s feet are really long too so you have to be careful about wall dives and jumps because they’ll stuff you in the vag.

Keep in mind that if sim did the Ultra instead, and the RCF didn’t kill him, Vega would probly still get hit by it because it moves so slow.
That’s what I think at least.
Based on my exp, walldive seems to be very helpful vs sim. If they tele, you still get meter, and if they don’t, you either get a hit or close distance at least. After that, stay in his face all day. =P
Instead of dashing, couldn’t he have FA’d Sim’s limbs and still got a crumple? I’m sure i’ve done that against Seth, and i’m wondering if it’s the same against Sim
I play Dhalsim too, and i can tell you that walldive are a big NO-NO in this match up. If the player you’re fighting against is any good, he can slide on reaction under your walldive with cf.mk (it’s very easy to time the slide) and punish you every single time with c.HP, or even land his Ultra if you happen to land too close to him.

I’ve had people slide on reaction, but I still hit them. Maybe they’re doing it wrong.
Yup. If you do it too early you’ll get hit because you’ll slide in the direction of Vega.
But trust me it’ very easy to do it right, and the long recovery after a walldive makes Vega an easy target to hit. Still, if the player can’t time the slide right (or doesn’t know about this tactic), walldive can be pretty useful to close the gap and to punish some random jump.
LMAO. I was the one filming that together with a friend of mine. And yes he did suck as did everyone else during that tournament. The Ryu players were decent, but nothing out of the ordinary. Still surprises me how that Blanka player finally eneded up winning. Making so many mistakes.
